This was the first time I attended with my girlfriend Louise. It was great to meet others and the organisers. Heather and Kev were so friendly and supportive. I would certainly recommend Drab to all :) I think I will definitely go again. |

I love this event, Drab or Dress is something I look forward to and wish it was on more often. The venue is safe, warm and discreet, everybody is friendly and welcoming. The organisers of Drab or Dress are just fantastic and go way beyond the call of duty, thay are all superstars. Heather has such a big kind heart and is so understanding and I love her to bits, thank you so much. X

always good seeing new faces and that they feel welcome- great 1st place to take a step out either in drab or dressed - able to dress there if needed really good seeing such numbers

An excellent evening, well supported by both Trans Women and Trans Men. It was also nice to see new faces from Trans girls visiting the area and new members venturing out for the first time. Penny |

I had a very good, enjoyable evening at Dress or Drab / TG PALS Chatting to friends and meeting new........always a lovely pleasure to see new faces.. There's always a good attendance.... and friendly ...... transgender people and their partners The building/venue is on the side of a nice big car park and in the town centre near bus routes and the main line railway station (Ashford International Railway Station) .... so there shouldn't be any problems in getting there... My first time at Drab and Dress and it didn't disappoint at all. A lovely welcoming friendly and supportive atmosphere catering for a wide range of girls partners and families. So relaxed and sociable. Thanks Heather & Abby.

I turned up to this event late and very stressed by the fact I got lost, thanks to my sat naff and yes it's naff. So I walk in stressed, nervous and very apprehensive. I didnt stay that way for long as within 5/10 mins I was relaxed and feeling a lot more comfortable. Everybody there was polite, open, friendly, understanding and very welcoming. The place was warm, inviting and discreet. I can't think of much els to say but I can safely say, I loved it and will definitely be going again. For the first time in a long time I felt like I mattered and that poeple wanted to know me. Thank you.

Without realizing it was the last gathering before Christmas so the evening was well attended and well stocked with Christmas goodies the girls had made. As usual i great time chatting and catching with old friends. In fact I didn't get of there to gone midnight; even Cinderella didn't manage that. :)

An excellent evening, a wonderful spread of mince pies, scones, jams ect,. downed with a nice cuppa... Thanks to all those responsible Lovely chatting to friends and this event was well attended..as always.. Drab or Dress/TG PALS is a friendly group situated in a building on the edge of a large car park in Ashford ...plenty of parking...also near the main line railway station ...Ashford International .. A truly memorable experience for my 1st time out. I was greeted by Heather, one of the co-hosts and put immediatley at my ease. She introduced me to many of the other ladies attending and I soon became busy in conversation with them. Everyone was so welcoming that I soon began to feel completley at ease and comfortable. Drab or Dress is a perfect venue for any ladies venturing out for the 1st time. It is safe, welcoming and inspiring. I shall certainly be attending again in the future. |
