Never fails to amaze me how good its feels to be able to socialise with friends in a place where you know you will get nothing but support and acceptance. Great having the opportunity to do so would be much harder making friends without the support group

A much needed & long overdue "catchup" with the lovely people who run this group & my many friends who are part of this group. I wholeheartedly recommend this group to all. x

A great evening...meeting old friends and making new ... Always nice to see new people.....whether you come in drab (your birth gender) or come dressed or dress here, a friendly welcome awaits .... Coffee, tea and bites to have ...... Safe, friendly and in on the edge of a large car park so plenty of parking ... So as they use to say on a certain Game Show ..... 'Come -On Down' ... Another great night we just need to get more people to remember to add there names to the list even if its just as a maybe attending . We tend to get 30 people sometimes more attending but less than half add there names to the list |

Does what it says on the tin :-) I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I walked in...actually before I even walked in as I bumped into Abbie outside the centre. It's a very safe and relaxed environment where TG people, their partners and friends can meet for the evening. Refreshments are provided (Tea and Coffee are available free of charge) and on this particular evening some rather lovely person had baked a cake :-) I dropped by thinking I would say Hi and stop for an hour or so....then 4hrs later I was told it was time to go home, which either means we were enjoying each other's company or I prattle on! I met some lovely people and had a wonderful time chatting about just about anything really :-) |
