After many years I have come to the conclusion that the local girls simply don't want a Monday night social event. This was the third week in a row when I was alone for all or most of the evening. Like many others the pub is very quiet on a Monday night & they seem to have staffing issues as there have been five different barmen in the past five weeks. Last night's in particular was more interested in chatting to his friend than serving. Out of habit I may pop down once in a while but for the time being I think that my regular Monday nights in Derby have ended. |

My first time to Derby. Found it easily and easy parking. Inclusive social group in a trans-friendly quiet bar, just walk in the door and you're there. If you're in the area and want to get out, come along :)
