Had a great time catching up with friends and making new ones, I can see why the Queenshilling won the award for best LGBT night club in the local awards, thanks to all the staff, Chris and paul on the door, our bar staff managed by Andy and our great host and DJ Miss Beaver. can't wait for next month xx |

A fab February Glitzy event justifying it's award as voted by 'Shoutout's' listeners of best trans event in the region. Once again well attended by girls, including some new faces out and about. We started off at OMG Bar across the road (which was also a tremendous venue to start at) before venturing over to the Queenshilling night club (venue of Glitzy). A great night of chatting and making new friends, and of course some dancing to great tunes, The club really does have a great atmosphere with friendly staff and great bar service. Next one March 24th .. can't wait ... :) .... Thanks Glitzy Girlz for another fab night |

😘 😘 First Glitzy Girlz of 2017 and what a fabulous fun night. Great to see many regular girls back again as well as a fair few new faces. Everyone very friendly and it was great to see some girls on only their 2nd or third times out, having such a lovely time chatting and dancing with the regulars party goers. Great staff ... always helpful and friendly. Fab music and DJ happy to play requests too ... all wonderful. Cannot fault this event or venue ... very classy and not surprising Glitzy Girlz has won Shoutout Award for best trans event in the SW in successive years Wising GLITZY the best of luck at the ShoutOut Listeners awards Ceremony on February 9th .... 😘 😘 Can't wait until February's Glitzy ... see you there 😘 |

First the good news. The Queenshilling in Bristol is a great venue, especially on a Friday night. Go if you can. As for Glitzy Girls, well I had more fun in Granny's front room at Granddad's funeral. As far as I could see there were about three other trannies there, none of whom would have looked especially out of place acting for the defendant at Bristol Crown Court! Glitzy...... Hmm. I did chat with one other girl who was in the process of transitioning but this was not as advertised by any stretch of the imagination. It looked like I was the only tv there with either friend or family (thank you little brother for going with me) and if it hadn't been for Ollie (who I would happily snog again any time) I might as well have stayed in and watched Strictly 2 with a cup of cocoa.
