The venue has been greatly improved. It was good before but is even better now. The event was not heavily attended. Due to the shear size of this venue when the numbers are low it looks much quieter than it is. That said there were plenty of private areas available if you wanted to stay undisturbed.

Not be to this club for some time now, but its still great . Some good improvements and a great crowd as well . I wont leave it so long till i return . Keep up the good work .

Great night, great atmosphere and great music. Gutted I won't be there on the 18th to play some more great music........but catch me on the 25th Rachel,Chrisie,Disco 2 is the best DJ ever!!!

Friday night at Candygirls is the place to be. Believe me, guys and girls if you are within striking distance of Sunbury on Thames on one of their Friday night raves then Candygirls is where it's happening. After what was a crital review of the Tuesday sessions I felt duty bound to attend a Friday night. I'd heard rave reviews of the Friday night gathering so donning a sombre black skirt and top, well it IS November and Remembrance Day is coming up, I set forth. Congratulations , Jenn. Downstairs on the dance floor the place was heaving. Why? Because the DJ was the real McCoy. Not just playing records but using the headphones and cueing the next track into the output so that the dancing went on and on and on. Upstairs the usual chilling out area but not many of the old familiar faces. The music is now discreet so conversation is again possible. The staff here work hard. Jenni runs a tight ship so I'm told. She has a first class event at a venue where on mainland Europe the entrance charge alone would be in excess of the modest charge levied here so Jen deserves to be better supported. Jen has found the right mix to succeed. Top marks. !!! |
