This was my second get together and I'm already looking forward to the next. I recognised a lot of girls from last time - including Kerry who was disappointed enough at being away to videocall us all the way from America. So what's making this event such a firm favourite? Two things stand out for me. I think we're pretty much all friendly outgoing girls; if you'reading this thinking about a first visit, be sure we'll want you to feel welcome. I'm fairly excited too to feel I'm beginning to forge some friendships with other girls like us, and I think finding opportunities to do that is a challenge for most of us. It might seem unlikely for an airport hotel, but it's a brilliant venue. It's such a breath of fresh air to be using one side of a hotel bar rather than scurrying into a club. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Other guests are happy to interact with us. If you're staying at the hotel, the rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced - with well lit mirrors with powerful magnification in the bathrooms!! I've heard concerns that the public gaze could be intimidating for girls taking their first steps but actually it's a great place to see your nerves off; use the Upcoming Events forum to find girls who can help with any issues you might be facing or let non-residents use their rooms to change, make up etc. |

My first visit and my first social for a long time. A very enjoyable evening. There was a great turn out and the other girls were very welcoming. Regina has done a great job getting this social event going and I look forward to yeturning. The venue was good , nice to have it in a "straight" environment. Staff were very welcoming and helpful

This was our fourth event which is held quarterly. It is a perfect place for,us girls to get together for a nice girly chat, some laughs and some drinks. It is a really eclectic mix of new girls and seasoned vetrans of the t-girl scene. We try not to encourage admirers so,it is a totally relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is clean, modern and reasonably priced. Drinks can be a little expensive but that is the same with most hotels. The hotel management are very accommodating and reserve us an area with tables away from the main footfall of the bar so any nervous girls can find themselves a quieter corner to get used to the surroundings without any hassle. They also appoint a waitress to our tables so you do not actually have to go to the bar to get drinks unless you choose to. Our next event should be around the mid September time. |

I was very pleasantly surprised by such a well attended event. It was so lovely nice and welcoming to be remembered by some of the girls that I have spoken on chixs in the past and to meet some new girls. Looking forward to catching up with them again. |

It was my first t-girl event in a public location but after an initial bunch of nerves everything was fine. The staff, besides being absolutely delicious were superb. Highly recommended!

Thank you Regina for organising this event totally fab,all the girls were fantastic and very friendly made some great new friends. Hotel was very good and the rooms are quite spacious,I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I definitely will try and make the next one in May. Sonia xx |

This was the second Crawley girls get together and what an absolutely fantastic evening it was. We had around 35-40 girls and a few partners attend and I think that everybody had a real fun time. We were really looked after by a young, pretty bar waitress by the name of Harriet who kept the girls fed and watered all evening non stop. Some of the girls went into Crawley to go clubbing and a good number came to breakfast dressed and we had a real hoot. I will hope to repeat this event again in mid May so I hope to see you all there again ?

Regina deserves praise for organizing this event at such a nice hotel. Sorry to everyone I did not socialize with as got waylaid by genetic couple. Hotel staff were so friendly. Shame it far away from David as would be good to return |

I arrived at the hotel already dressed i walked up to the reception area and spoke to a very friendly member of staff whom addressed us properly. Our room was lovely Good size but lighting for close up makeup like most hotels in the world was not the best. Always take a good light and mirror with you. We dropped our bags and heading down to meet everyone as we walk in the bar was facing us and didn't take to long to get served found some seats and sat down before you know it your in full swing chatting away and everyone was so nice. As the night progressed we all laughed and had such good fun the bar service and waitress was so lovely Very enjoyable evening A few girls wanted to carry on the night so we decided to head into town 4 to a taxi under £5.00 each great value The club we went to was something 7 but i'm sure you will find out great music and everyone at the club could not get enough of us was such a blast . At the end of the night we headed around the corner 6 minute walk to a burger bar again felt very comfortable . Taxi parked outside the burger joint after some laughs headed back to hotel cab ride was under £8.00 Breakfast with the girls around the table was also nice yes i would come back to this event . |

Great get together at a wonderful location which is easy to reach. Good mix of girls and nice to meet old friends again and make new ones
