As good, if not better than ever. I can honestly say I've never had a bad night at Pinks. My only complaint is the generic club music but I realise that's a personal thing and not everyone would want a glam rock medley followed by Led Zeppelin and Rammstein. Imagine the wigs flying off left right and centre though! Anyway, I digress, It's a great venue and equally good on non BNO weekends. Not been to Pinks yet? Shame on you. |

First time at BNO ,arranged to meet another lovely tv friend i met on TV Chix and bless her she showed me around the club which was really re-assuring even though i could tell she wanted to mingle and party the night away she sacrificed her night for me ,it was a nerve racking experience for me being my first time and i dread to think how i would have coped on my own ,yes i was aware of TAG's operating at the club but to be honest the ones I did see failed to acknowledge my presence ,I fully understand they were probably attending to others but surely if they see an unfamiliar face looking nervous it would be better if they gave a re-assuring arm round the shoulder to calm even the most nervous of person.Also on the entry to the club there was no-one to greet the newbies which i felt an organised event like this could do with again though i understand if theres a limited few of them it can be difficult The club itself I found it very spacious an unusual entry and exit systemand as i was queuing to get in with me heart thumping and nerves nearly shredding a group of straight lads in front of us turned round and saw me and my friend and straight away made a beeline for me asking if i was okay to be fair the security guy noticed my unease and straight away nipped it in the bud ,but 20 mins later or so whilst i was sat down having a cigarette the same group of lads came and sat next to us ,which made me feel slightly uncomfortable especially as one guy was in my face straight away not in a nasty way but made me feel pretty uneasy my thoughts started thinking if the nights going to be one of hassle i might well be travelling back up the M1 soon than i thought,but once we moved didnt get any hassle for remainder of the night ,though i previous mentioned the club being spacious i did feel that the stairs to both the higher level and the lower level were quite steep and very narrow and perhaps improvements could be made there or more than one set of stairs would improve it ,the unisex toilets was a totally new experience for me having not having toilets like these locally in any clubs The entry price i thought was pretty good £7 to get in thats way cheaper than some of the straight hetro clubs in my local area,the atmosphere seemed pretty good groups of people big and small all in conversation ,did find the music downstairs too loud ,didnt stop in there for too long ,the chill out room upstairs was my favourite though the busiest part of the club it was by far the most comfortable and most relaxing ,the bar staff were very friendly ,never been called sweet,sweetheart,darling or honey when getting served for drinks before so this was lovely the venue is fine i have already recommended to friends as a good decent venue and open til 6am !! WOW, all in all the Venue and night is good value for money with a good atmosphere in certain areas of the club the staff are friendly and the security staff are spot on ,i will definately be attending another BNO night at Pink Punters hopefully next time with less nerves or anticipation regards Diana xx |

It must be a good place - this was my second BNO and I came all the way from Malta just to go there!! Seemed quieter than the last time but it was still a GNO (Good Night Out!)

Quieter than usual but the usual excellent facilities were there for us all to enjoy a great night boogie snd chat. Met some lovely people while sitting round the fire. But the red wine was AWFUL! Sorry, but it had to be said, it s amongstthe worst I have ever tasted a view shared by my companions. PLEASE get some beter stuff in!!! |
