Well worth a visit...fun and alot of people to get together with. Friendly staff and punters. The music however is pure CHEESE!!! the atmosphere helps... but more variety from the DJ's would make it so much better. |

This was my 4th BNO and the very 1st with my now very supportive missus. We arrived approx 10:45 after a pre bno drink in the 'camp' across the road After approx 1 hour dancing we took a breather in the open area, before returning inside for more dancing on the ground floor and a further breather in the attic bar upstairs. We saw a few of my previously made friends but didn't really take the time to make full introductions, as I didn't want to put her off on her first visit inside a LGBT venue Any fears of persons behaving irresponsibly were quickly put out of mind by the security personnel floating around in their uniforms, in fact their was probably more hassle from the many groups of 'normal' that arrived after midnight in particular the 2 hen groups. We left approx 02:30 as I did'nt want to overdo it on her first time Thank to all those who made her welcome in particular PP's very own 'Liver Bird' Jackie |

Hya every body me & my wife went to bno stayed at camponile hotel crap as usual ps it takes 3 days by stage coach if any one is traveling from the north , bit tough on the bot but worth it .Night started in the bar busy, met some nice girls ,Princesslauron,Ooo can't remember the other girls name must have been the shampoo lol.Made our way across to Punters be careful across the mine field and ditch, got into the club very spacious and welcoming excellent security and friendly staff, oap room on top floor disco come house middle floor & if you need somthing harder go down stairs .Drinks are reasonable as is food for a club that is we bounced the night away while 3 am early for us but the stage coach home left at 8am lol.Had a really good night good mix of straight and gay all friendly wat more could we all ask for so highly recommend luv Yasmin xxx

Would I recommend it to someone unsure, in the closet and thinking of making this their first time? Yes. There really is no reason to be all that nervous. Apart from getting a taxi there and making it out of the hotel (undercover of darkness ;). Once you're there you can just relax. Taxi drivers don't particularly care, they've seen it all before and there's a queue of taxi's waiting outside to take you back home at the end of the night just like outside other busy clubs. Once you're there then you are just one of many. I'd say the percentages are something like 70% TG 29% men and 1% real girls, and many of the men are just there for the night out, and don't even bat an eyelid. The club has two rooms for music with, a chillout room with plenty of seating which was very popular and a balcony with open fires keeping you from freezing. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the bar staff friendly and plenty of security about. The music is kinda as you'd expect, although the downstairs room was less cheesy if its really not your thing. Personally for me it was all part of the experience to have a bit of a dance and admit you do know the words to Mamma Mia... |

I had some bad news at the start of this event and it did put a huge dampner on the evening. But it was only to pinks advantage. Lots of attendee's. Seemed to be more Genetic girls this month. :-) Cant wait till next month |

What a great venue Pink Punters is and a wonderful night had bopping and chatting and swishing about :) The facilities are fab, great dancefloor and chillout areas, perfectly helpful staff and security, clean toilets, makeup area, open fires, food counter and general air of relaxed and friendly funkiness X The Campanile just over the road ticks the box for basic but clean accomodation with decent bathroom and mirrors, is chock full of tgirls and their pals, the perfect place to start the night. For a first time out or just a good fun and safe place to hang out, BNO is bang on! We'll be back ;) |
