I probably rank as the most far-flung attendee, living as I do in Wellington New Zealand ;-) It's been several years since I last attended a BNO at Pink Punters and the venue has grown somewhat!! The climate meant that most of the extension was pretty chilly so I personally spent most of my time in the nice cost fire-warmed "pub-like" bar area at the top, chatting with new friends ... I arrived concerned that I'd be left high and dry but that is a state abhored by the BNO atmosphere! Someone will come and strike up friendly banter with you or lure you into a group so you make new friends pretty quickly! Pretty much the same happened on the following night too as it happened!! A really invigorating experience even being effectively a total "foreigner" and I wish I would be around for the next one!! I will be back though!!! |

Really impressed by the scale of the venue and the way things were set up, although like many larger venues I'd imagine it could be easy to get lost after you've had a few drinks. It feels very secure and safe with staff generally around or easily contactable. Very impressed at them having their own little diner/ takeaway (5 hygiene rating too) and quite reasonably priced too. After about midnight there seemed to be an influx of non-LGBT people - they didn't cause any trouble or anything, but if you were expecting it to be just varying degrees of trans people and partners/friends/admirers it isn't. It was a chilly evening but I'd imagine the open air sections can be lovely in the summer months. We were glad of the fires though. |

Had an excellent night at BNO March. Apart from the usual cliquey types, who seem incapable of talking to people outside of their little group, an overwhelmingly positive, fun night. I did stack it in me heels and sprain my ankle, but even that couldn't spoil a great, fun night. Great stuff!

A great night as always. A first for my cousin and his boyfriend and needless to say they luvved it! Definitely be back soon A very safe and comftable location only let down by two things in our opinion , the lack of parking and the expensive drinks. |

5 months now at BNO and love it so much have started going on the Saturday too. Had a couple of issues with 2 men however the Security guys were on it in a flash - Those guys are totally awesome - plus really friendly. We love it - every single time we have had a blast - its just the best night re BNO and club generally.. |

Yes I did go to this event and this is my review. I stayed at the Swan which on arriving and chatting to the landlady (well my gf did) she asked if we was there for anything special? To which my gf replied we were going to Pink Punters, (gobby cow) The landlady said it was a great place and asked if I would be going dressed and not being that experience I shyly answered yes, she then told us the entrance to the rooms was behind the bar, which bought a slight panic attack on thinking of walking through the bar with the beer swilling locals who she said were a slightly biased homophobic bunch. She then explained there was a back door we could slip out if I didn`t want to brave the bar. (thank god) So of we toddled got ready and snuck out the back door, and tottered up to Pink Punters which was prob not even a 10 min walk. On arriving at Pinks we were greeted by a doorman who said "evening ladies in a nice non sarcastic way, paid the entrance fee inclusive of coats and entered. WOW I was well impressed, I`ve given top stars for everything except value for money, which although the entrance fee I found to be more than reasonable I found the drinks to be a bit more costly than what I am used to. But that being the only"fault" I can mention I thoroughly enjoyed my night there leaving when it closed and would recommend it to any Newbie as a first outing xx |

My first BNO, heard so much about it and thoroughly lived up to expectations. A great night, meeting other girls and having fun in an environment that feels both relaxed and secure. It's expensive for me having to stay in a hotel, but I'll definitely be getting back at some time.
