have been to many bno nights in the past, However, on this occasion when the film crew were in attendance, I found the attitude of the door staff very rude and arrogant. I was about 3 steps down in the attic bar, and had 2 doorman push past me down the stairs, in order to make way for a film person ! I was practically barged out of the way, without so much as an apology or even a thank you for waiting ! I wont be attending this venue ever again, as this incident has put me off going from now on. :-( :-( |

My first time at Pink Punters, the venue was a lot bigger than I expected and thought the entrance fee was expensive but when you see what's available - 3 floors + hi tech etc it's very reasonable! It's not somewhere I could go a lot just once in a while! we're a little spoilt in Manchester with whats available, I personally want more main stream outings, BNO is a good place to catch up with friends and meet new ones! we stayed at the campanile hotel across the road and they're very tgirl friendly too 10/10 for both!

This was not only my first BNO but my first outing ever en-femme. It was amazing experience that I'm sure I'll remember forever. After initial nerves on arrival at the Camp I felt completely at ease, as my lovely friend Karen explained simply that everyone is there for the BNO. All my worries vanished and I got on with the task we all love - dressing and makeup. Got over to PP about 9.30 with Karen and another wonderful girl, Nikki. It was so refreshing that everyone I met was courteous, polite & friendly - at most hetero clubs you go to the staff can be sullen if not plain rude. Here the staff and punters all seem relaxed and friendly. I must admit I have been to livelier places but it got better later in the night. Unfortunately, us old fogeys are usually in bed with the Horlicks by about 7.30 so I only managed out until about 1am before staggering across the road, eager to remove those killer heels. There was an eclectic mix of girls & guys at the club. I was worried about standing out by being too tall - won't be worrying about that again. Next time I'll be in the 6" platforms for sure! You could wear absolutely anything you want and be completely accepted from frumpy to ultra-glam. Girls reading this, if you're considering your first outing, please, please just go. You will love every minute, I guarantee. Better if you go with a friend but I'm sure you could easily make dozens of friends easily. Quite a few girls went alone, there's always someone available for a chat. The club has varied sections which cover all needs, loud & lively, quiet & comfy, and a wonderful outside area. Thanks so much to, Karen & Nikki. Same again soon, I hope. Sorry, I've gone on a bit here, so in summary.. I was expecting scary & exciting - turned out to be relaxing, confidence boosting & enormously enjoyable. |

I always enjoy the venue, been 4 or 5 times now and you do a fab job, each and every one of you, so thanks! Couple of things I noticed this time........ first, can you consider getting taller glasses for spritzer type drinks, like a 10 or 12oz highball? A white wine and lemonade at £4.10 is good value but would be nicer in a taller glass. second, not sure if you change the DJ's regularly but I was a little disappointed in the music this time in the main dance area. It was quite poppy whereas I like "dance". Subjective personal opinion I guess. Lastly, the older guy who patrols the toilets on the dancefloor level is sweet but maybe he needs to be just a little less "present". He's good but maybe needs to be a little more discrete when he's checking the cubicles. What I mean is he's quite loud as he goes about his business. But he has your best interests at heart for sure. All in all a great venue, love it to bits, and thanks again! |

After a couple of days working in the area it was off to BNO for the first time in about a year. A couple of drinks beforehand at 'The Camp' which was very quiet set the scene for what was also a quiet BNO. Nothing wrong with that though. The live band playing downstairs were excellent, the conversation during the evening good and largely humorous. Great to re-acquaint with established friends, develop newer ones and start some fresh ones plus I managed to grab a few minutes with someone I specifically wanted to which was a real bonus so all in all a happy chappy

Always a great night out - both nights in fact!! Feel very comfortable there and never noticed any negativity - the theme nights are a good idea (when I know about them!).

OK, so take this review as my second time at Pinks (second time anywhere...) and allow for the fact that I'm all starry eyed about being out and about... But I love this place... I don't have a lot of experience on T-girl venues but for a beginner it's excellent. The staff are great, really friendly and relaxed, it's a perfect place to go. Also, the girls are amazing, a huge thankyou to Rachel, Joanne, Amber, Crissy, Michelle, Yjselle, Nicola and everyone else that made my night so much fun (and apologies to anyone I've forgotten but I'm thrilled to remember that many names...) Anyway, it's a great venue, very friendly, feels very safe, welcoming and a great place to start out. |
