Its a grubby place and the last half of the evening is spent dodging dirty mops that have been used to mop up spilled beer Strategically its a great place to meet friends. The Pink room was a great idea for taking pics in but the pink walls have got old now...It would be great to have a roll of white paper for a back drop for pics..or even an old sheet. A very small investment that will be worthwhile. The photographer could help with the set up Im sure... The music was better than I remember it ! |

it was my first time attending this event , it was amazing and had a lot of fun there and met so many girls , and i liked the music though . its just an amazing place.

Best "stand alone" Trans venue in the UK. In my most humble opinion. If you're reading this and have never been out but really want to...this is the place to pop your cherry. It does not get any easier. It only loses one star 'cos the Jagerbombs are too expensive! Long may it continue. |

Excellent venue but can get cold when temp drops especially for us who get in there early. Maybe could do with the fires on earlier pre opening. Or let us girls take our coats in.

A pretty chilly night meant there was room to move around at BNO. The evening went well with al dance floors getting well used by the more athletic of thiose attending. Overall a good evening though standards dropped with some as the alcohol levels got high - but hey - that's life. Great to meet old friends and new and now looking to April - it won't be snowing . . . . . . . . will it??? |

Being the second time I had visited BNO I was very much looking forward to experiencing 'The Full Monty', given that the only other time I had visited Pink Punters I had a raging toothache and managed only one hour before heading back to my hotel and then back to A & E in my local hospital for some welcome relief - not the type you might hope for after a BNO. There are 3 aspects to a BNO in effect 1) The gathering at the Campanile Bar 2) The venue itself 3) The gathering of girls/friends The Campanile Bar wasn't throbbing as it had been last time I visited, but it's a good place to 'warm up' before the main event. Pink Punters is a varied venue for clubbers offering the dry-iced, heart-thumping, deafening beat in the basement, the bar areas for chatting at the entrance and all floors and a large amount of room for dancing. Suffice to say Friday attracted the 'beautiful crowd' out for the evening - and yes I'm only referring to the (t)girls. Heels to rival the Shard for height, stunning frocks and outfits to enhance curves and make up lovingly applied to enhance beauty and attract welcome (and unwelcome) advances from admirers and friends. But what impressed me was the warmth of the girls who attended. Warmth of welcome, warmth of spirit in chatting to people they'd never met, dispelling the myth that some hold that they are aloof and cliquey. Not in the slightest. And so generous with the drinks too! I met up with some lovely friends, got re-acquainted with old friends and made some wonderful new friends! (It's true what they say about Northerners - very friendly... and that's not a euphemism!). Fantastic evening and thanks to everyone I met for making it so memorable. (I only saw one or two incidents of excess alcohol or recreational substances - probably a heady mix of the two, and no trouble whatsoever - discreet security staff probably). I defy anyone not to enjoy the occasion. If you've flirted with the idea of going but not summed up the guts or energy, I urge you to go. If you're on your own, hook up with anyone who is on the list on tvchix as attending prior to BNO and you can guarantee that folks will welcome you and help break the ice. And you'll have a great time. Over 150 went from tvchix last weekend. They all looked stunning and certainly were having a great time... and certainly looked as though they had the next morning! This was my second time and i had a good idea of what to expect. I had a great night. Everyone was friendly. Met so many lovely girls and cant wait for the next one xxx

As always a fantastic night was had. This was probably one of the best here for along time with so many friends around I can honestly say it was brilliant to catch up. Looking forward to the next one. xx

My first BNO and not my last. Never seen so many beautiful T-girls in one place. Met some lovely people and enjoyed strutting my stuff even if the music was not really to my taste. Overall a great venue and lovely staff. I loved the fires downstairs, burger bar and the make up room. |
