Been visiting this place since my uni days in 98 and venues have changed but the format hasn’t Not a sex club even though White Swan is seedy lol |

Used to go here every night, ten/fifteen years ago. Came out there too. Thought I'd go with partner to have dance. Security and organisation fine. However dancing starts at about 12.30 after 'cabaret', missable, and the music is at best thumpy and unimaginative. Lots and lots of admirers standing around on dance floor too. We left at 1.30 after trying our best. Not going again. |

another good night at the white swan. went to the old ship (cabaret) across the road beforehand and walked over to way for 11'ish.

It was a good night out. But me and my friends thought the section was a bit small and crowded and also the music was better on the other night we attended. Apart from that was so fun and nice people too :)

Well yes, the Way Out club... I don't believe it has a new name but it definitely has a new venue. Way out on Commercial Road, in fact. This was my second visit to the White Swan, where it's held now. Strikingly different ambience from the Minories which was a more classy venue. Nevertheless, the Way Out remains what it's always been: London's premier trans/admirer dance scene. Not a sex scene but definitely a pick up place, if that's what you seek and all goes well... If you're looking for a good night out with lots of girls and lots of guys into the wee small hours, I can only say get on down...

Very disappointed with the new venue. It feels much smaller, and seedier. There’s precious few places tho sit down. The outdoor space is laid with loose pebbles which were a nightmare in heels. I don’t think I’ll be back if the venue remains the same. |

Hi Everyone, Only my second time at the Way Out Club but once again another brilliant night hosted by the lovely Vicky Lee and her team. Great music and a live performance from the wonderful Woe Addams. Full of gorgeous girls and handsome hunks, I only wish the next event were sooner but until then, thank you all at the Way Out for making it such a fab night for a newbie. First time out in the big city all on my own. Lovely relaxed and comfortable night out. The alternate venue to the usual Minories, which was perfect. Plenty of seats here, quiet atmosphere I guess, as it was still Christmastime / New Year. Whole pub in use, which was airy and spacious.

Had a very nice evening, met some lovely people and enjoyed the show Geri Love is a great performer. Just wish it had been a bit busier for her I will go back soon. |

I hadn't been to the Way Out for a few years. I liked the Duke of Somerset as a venue, quite intimate, and it was nice to meet Geri Love. I had a great evening.
