A special LFF in that it was the 15th anniversary and the unveiling of LFF’s memorial to Janie. For those there it will live long in the memory and such a positive statement that our community is here, continues to grow, and openly supportive of each other. LFF’s success is that it’s driven by the community and those attended. The team behind the scenes work incredibly hard to facilitate the evening, so big thanks to them. As ever Fri nights at LFF is spread across numerous friendly venues, hotels on the doorstep, and numerous places to eat. So if you’re unsure of coming along then don’t be. |

Whats to say. A fabulous night out and a celebration of a life and 15 years of LFF. Partying and chatting and meeting so many of us who mostly meet online but this time in person. Only my second LFF but many who have been before seem to think it was one of the best ever. So glad I went. Had a lovely time. xxx

My first ever LFF as I live quite a distance from Leeds. I was able to meet some people I knew and some old friends. A sparkle feel to the event as there are so many trans girls out and there are numerous bars. Everyone was friendly and things stay open a long time. Highly recommended for those who have not been. I may have to go again.

Great time out and the Fibre room was excellent; the bench unveiling was done very well and was all very well done, well done to the team for all the work involved.

This was my first LFF and I had a total blast. Everyone was so friendly, the music was fantastic, and the mood was super festive. I can't wait for next time.

Anniversary party at Fibre awful, 35 minutes trying to get served at a chaotically poor bar, and no service available on the second floor bar until later. We left in disgust and went across to Viaduct instead, served in seconds and a fabulous evening with great cabaret entertainment. Finished off with a couple of hours in Smokestack again brilliant music and quick polite bar staff. Fibre management need to take note that their “special” event service was absolutely abysmal and I know a several girls who won’t be venturing into Fibre again unless things drastically improve. Scores are for Fibre - rest of the night was great as usual |

This was the busiest LFF since March 2020 and a welcome change. The Penthouse bar at Fibre was a nice gesture by the Fibre management for the 15th anniversary but I do not expect it to be made available for LFF again. Unfortunately there was next to nowhere to sit up there and the music volume made it impossible to chat in any meaningful way but we got seated on the second floor which used to host LFF. The downstairs bar is hopeless now with hardly any seats or tables just loads of kids shoving each other on the dance floor and spilling drinks. So it was off to Smokestack a much more pleasant experience before calling it a night. Dinner at Ambiente with Alana before all this was the evening's highlight. Unfortunately we missed the dedication of Janie's bench owing to the timing of our restaurant booking but it looks very good and has a lovely plaque attached. I was shocked at how young she was when she died not even mid 50s. What a tragedy . Finally Gary who has left a review apparently was asked for £10 to enter Fibre ? What's that about ?

had a great night spent most of it in smokestack spent 20 mins in fibre wich used to be my fave place did not like haveing to pay £10 to get in tho so i doubt i will be going in there ever again the event needs to start in a place that is quiet enough to have chat and meet new friends
