Sadly disappointing venue far too hot and service not great 15 mins to get served. Also as was alone didn't feel welcome as most in groups and didn't wish to introduce or chat |

For one reason or another I hadn't managed to get to an LFF event for 10 years, and it was very pleasing to be back again. I must admit I missed the atmosphere of the Cosmopolitan, it was definitely OUR place for LFF nights and the Marriott is perhaps a trifle 'cold' in comparison, but it certainly offered all we need. The rest of the scene was amazing, everyone, be they straight, gay, lesbian, or trans were SO friendly, and I was amazed how we girls got VIP treatment at the clubs and bars and were even encouraged to jump the queues! Being a bit of a dancing queen I managed to strut my stuff at Fibre and Blayds, which pleased me no end, and all in all it was a fab night out. It'll definitely LESS than 10 yrs before I return next time! |

Didn't hang out on the scene apart from Smokestack early on which was busier than usual and the staff as friendly as ever . Then down to Brasserie Blanc for our dinner which was excellent as always. Usually see a few T girls in there on LFF nights but we didn't spot any this time . Went into the bar at Marriott about 9 to see how the land lay and it was packed just like the old LFF nights at Cosmo. Earlier in the afternoon we went in the Head of Steam across from the rail station which has a great selection of bottled Belgian and other beers quite apart from a good draught offering and good wine . Always very T friendly and a change from Lower Briggate like North Bar on Sovereign Street. Happily it looks like LFF will be OK going forwards under new management so well done you girls who have come forward to help out .

Fab evening as ever and it’s going from strength to strength. Big thanks to the organisers for all there hard work. Marriott, Viaduct (twice), Fibre, and Smokestack (twice) all very welcoming and no issues whatsoever...lots of smiles all around in each place. |

Brilliant night out as always... but I decided to give the Briggate Hotel a try for a change, situated at the side of the viaduct show bar. If anyone is considering it it's perfect situation wise... bang in the middle of all the action.... but one thing I did find Is that the lighting in the room was more like emergency lighting! ... a nightmare to get ready in make up wise... yes it was that bad! .... bed was really comfy though... every cloud Tyra x |

Yes I did my first LFF which was only my 2nd time out dressed en femme. I stayed at the Marriott hotel which was great. Very near to the train station along with all the rainbow bars and clubs. So the location was spot on. The hotel is pricey but they all are if city central. All the girls meet in the hotel bar before venturing out to all the nearby pubs and clubs. It was a great night out. Everyone was really fiendly and you are never alone. So of the bars were a bit pricey but overall well worth doing especially if you are new to going out dressed.

Another great LFF night. Poingant as we had a memorial to the wonderful and very missed Janie Marie Swann at the New Penny. I see a few on ere saying it was a quiet one - I thought LFF was busier than June and July (August was Pride so it was packed) although Leeds in general seemed very quiet this weekend. Lots of new faces which was lovely to see and I managed to meet and chat with a couple of them. Hopefully see them again at future LFFs. If you are looking for an event to get you into the outside world, LFF is the event for you! |
