This was my 40th LFF and was so good to see so many people at this one that Ive not seen for a very long time, pre-covid and before that. Didn't intend to have a late one but got to bed at 4:30am. LFF will always be my favourite event as so many friends go to it and it has so many venue choices. Thanks have to go out to Janie who organises it and gets us special treatment such as queue jumping at Fibre and free entry in Viaduct. May it continue to grow in popularity in 2022. Gemma |

Another good night out, met some lovely people again and here is a tip...don't mistake stockings and hold ups like i did. Yes they stayed up for an hour but after after that...f*****g nightmare, especially when you're wearing a quite shortish pvc skirt. Still live and learn hey, what a twat!

It's been 18 months since the last LFF I attended. Some things have changed; a new meeting place at the marriott, our fabulous DJ at Fibre was not there (missed you!). Despite the changes things remain, it's a fantastic night out! Lots of amazing people staff, people of Leeds and, of course, all the girls that attend! Loved it and glad to be back. X

Stayed in the Marriot and was pleasantly surprised , clean big quiet rooms, refurbished to a nice standard. We dined in the restaurant and it was good too the food was tasty and service good. Lff discount helped with the cost , its nice to know our loyalty is rewarded, thank you . Jo |

What another fabulous night. My first time at the new venue at the Marriot. Was quite nervous as it was full of 'normal' people, but this wasn't a problem. Everyone arrived at about 7pm+ and was good to chat to old friends. The bars are just round the corner and it was so good to skip the queues and not have to pay entry fees as we were dressed. The bars and clubs are great, very friendly and very lgtbq focused. Anyone not sure about going should give this event a go. Parking at trinity is cheap if you stay at the marriot. Hotel Rooms are nice but expensive. Plenty of cheaper alternatives. Great night out though.. x

My first LFF, a long time in the making and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I thought the bar at the Marriott was a fabulous starting point and the consensus seems to be that it is way better than the Cosmo. Favourite spots were Fibre and Smokestack but there are many more venues that I didn’t get to despite rolling into bed at 4am! So amazing to meet so many lovely girls. I’m looking forward to returning!

I'm very happy to realise that the LFF is still one of the best transgender events in Europe.

My 39th LFF, Really good to see it getting back to how it was pre-covid levels. the new venue of the Marriott hotel really copes well with the increased capacity. Great to see so many lovely friends again. See ya December. Gemma x |

Nice to be back at LFF for a couple of hours and seeing Louise Kennedy and Dean in Blayds and a few old friends in Marriott including Janie Swann . Seemed quite busy everywhere a bit like old times. Funny set up at Smokestack when I arrived at 6pm. The place was rammed with Scandinavian Leeds supporters down for Sunday's match. All well behaved and polite but a bit loud for 6pm lol and I had difficulty getting to the bar !!! Anyway Blayds was quiet .

Had a great time at Leeds First Friday, preferred the Marriot to the old Cosmopolitan in terms of the hotel room and main bar but by the time we were ready to go down lots of girls had moved onto other venues. My fabulous friend Sam was with me and she gives me so much confidence and we spent the evening with the fabulous Cindy and Carol who as well as being gorgeous girls are loads of fun, Carol wore me out just watching her dance I don't know where she gets the endless energy from! Definitely be back in December all being well and will revisit the Bridge and Smokestack as they're my favourite two venues so far. Philippa xxx |

My first visit for two years and therefore my first at the new start venue. The Marriott is so much better than the Cosmo, I've only heard positive comments about it. Bar service is much quicker and the layout is perfect. Next stop was Fibre as usual and again the service good and the venue spot on. Then on to my favourite bar in Leeds, Smokestack, such a chilled out and welcoming place. Had a drink and a dance or two and spent a long time chatting with a couple who were intrigued about Trans people. They were really lovely. Then we moved on to Queens Court for a drink and dancing to cheesy pop music, before returning to Smokestack. A fabulous night, meeting up with friends old and new, and meeting some people I only previously met online.
