The Marriott Bar is a great venue. You get served faster. The atmosphere around the town was great. The LFF angels in high viz jackets that used to look after us all pre covid were either not there or not as visible. A great night.

Hi everyone hope your all good ! … it’s 7 30 pm and am in the cosmopolitan bar an have to say it’s a bit on the quite side. Am with my friends Brian an Ginny but stills feels like a Leeds first Friday … am sat on a high chair an a guy keeps looking at my legs , I briefly open them and flash my knickers (slut) lol (think I’ve pulled) ang on love I’ve just got here lol .. apparently we’re meeting at the Marriott now as the Cosmo getting done up .. first time Brian’s here so I show him round … the towns busy we go to blayds bar , then fibre (no buffet but two free drinks ) thanks fibre you know how to throw a party don’t you , smokestack your still smoking ! Viaduct still can’t get to the bar , queens court, and new penny , Leeds your awesome !!! Peace xxx |

Really nice night in Leeds again. Great to meet old friends and some new. Might go next month again. Cosmo was like a graveyard after Buffy had been through. Changes are occurring but LFF is still a good nite out. Thank you Hayley Michelle Mel and all the rest. |

A nice venue with a good mix of tgirls and general members of public. Its like a pub but it's actually a hotel bar. Price's of drinks were fine. (They could always be cheaper) |

Big news about LFF is a change of location. For many years this Transgender event has kicked off in the Cosmopolitan Hotel on Swinegate. Girls,admirers et al would gather here before moving on to the numerous nearby bars. As the Cosmo is about to close for several months, the Marriott Hotel have stepped up to mark for the August LFF and future FF's. I think the Marriott will be great for LFF. Nice big room, plenty of seating. Reasonable size bar, well staffed and prices ok, a pint of Stella was £4.30. Not sure the rooms will be affordable, last night I could have had a double for £79 (half price). Food looked nice. Location is ok, reception entrance is a 2 minute walk from Swinegate, 5 mins from station. Bar front door leads out to Boar lane, opposite Botanist bar. quick right and you are on Briggate for the usual bars. The hotel offers a 15% to Girls wanting stay over. Thanks go to Janie Swann (long time LFF organiser) for arranging this choice venue.

An excellent night out again and thanks must go to Janie in hastily bringing forward the new venue by a month when the former venue gave back word at the last minute they weren't allowing non residents. The new venue of the Marriott hotel proved to be far better and in a very convenient location with easy access. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. As usual went for a meal then hit the various bars until the early hours, all with a good atmosphere. Brilliant friendly night out which is thoroughly recommended attending.
