An absolutely brilliant LFF weekend - Friday and Saturday as usual. Friday was mostly spent in the Cosmo chatting. It was Halloween LFF, and some of the costumes were absolutely amazing! LFF is always a great night and the perfect event for any first-timers or old hands! Best event in the UK, for me.

Hi everyone... am in the cosmopolitan bar admiring the Halloween costumes ... have to say you all look awesome !! Think I’ll get a drink ... aw Amanda s going to buy me one how convenient lol (thanks hon) .. get talking to a few people this is going to be a fun night ... out in the bars now the lights flash the music plays , I come alive , lots of smiles from scary monsters and other creatures of the night .. went to the usual haunts , the decorations in blayds are amazing ! they’ve even got a spinning skeleton now that’s spooky ! ... much later in the new penny ... 5 am the bewitching hours are over ... need to fly home and wash my shoes lol Till next time Katie xx |

Enjoyed Cosmo for dinner and meeting friends. Do not do the clubs as go out in the town. Nice to see lot dressed for Halloween.

LFF3... just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... First time I was genuinely flying solo. Decided to have a change of image for this one, ditched "frumpy middle aged woman" in favour of "goth", and partied like it was 1986! This event never disappoints. Rock up with friends or alone, but you'll have new friends by the time you leave. 6 months ago I was a wreck, cowering in my bedroom, not even daring to put a foot out of doors. Now I have found confidence I never new I had, I'm making new friends every time I go out, and I've booked for December and January... If you're going, see you there - if you're not, you're missing out. |

Second LFF, first one not being shepherded round... saw a couple of new places, revisited a couple of old ones, but most importantly I met some awesome people. And what's more, I hit the dancefloor for the first time since 1989... If you're thinking of going but are wavering, my advice is, DO IT!

Debbie and I had a very enjoyable evening on Friday. After a cocktail at Smokestack, we had dinner in the restaurant at Cosmopolitan followed by drinks and chat with lots of really friendly people. We were joined by several good friends, which made this a thoroughly memorable evening.
