I did not make the Cosmopolitan meet up and just made my way around the local bars. However I made it to Fiber and there were plenty of of the LFF girls there. All the local bars to Cosmopolitan and Fiber were very welcoming and Friendly, great Atmosphere and overall a great night out.

Seemed a smaller number than usual. Maybe because of the string of Bank Holidays we have this time of year.
The atmosphere was its usual pleasant self.
I will go again.

“Any floor is a dance floor” and so it was at “the Cosmo” blayds, fibre, viaduct, queens court, smokestack and bar Cuba although watch yourself if dancing in blayds (uneven floor) lol
Had another amazing weekend in Leeds, thanks to Janie and everyone for making this real ! It’s a happy memory now although it really did happen !!
Till next time ..
Katie xx

Another wonderful week-end again in Leeds. I say 'Leeds' rather than LFF as for me it's LFF; LFSaturday and LFSunday. So many lovely people during the day in shops and eateries and so many fabulous friends at night. Some are especially lovely friends both day and night too. Keeping the faith, but burning the candle at both ends. A lot of lost times to make up in such a short time too. Big love LFF! Pippa xxx

Sat in Cosmo at 2pm, feet sore from dancing, swaying from the drink and with a blurred but thoughtful clarity, I look around me and see people of many different ages and backgrounds. I see people who have been given an opportunity to truely express themselves, regardless of what they look like. I see smiling, happy people who may not be entirely happy with their 'daytime' life and have an outlet to shine.

Its not just a bar crawl with a twist, LFF is an open safe space for crossdressers, tv, trans and admirers.

Without this event many would be hidden away, locked in a cage that they can never escape. This event has been the key to thousands of locks that were actually those cheap ones you get from poundland, easily breakable and ready to release the valuable contents hidden inside.

This is my 4th Leeds First Friday event I have attended. I cannot really express enough positive words to how much this event changed my life, so this sentence will have to do.

=D

This was my sixth time attending LFF in as many months. The night is what you make of it, each venue offers something slightly different. Nice to see so many girls out from all over the country. For a free event it is hard to be too critical, the only downers are how busy Cosmo gets at peak time, the cost of parking overnight locally, and some unwanted attention may come your way in some places but it is mostly good-natured.

LFF is THE event for everyone, This was my 27th one and I still love it just as much as my first one. Ive introduced so many newbies from here to it and they all love it. If you have never been out in public and want to then LFF is the place to do it trust me.

First visit to LFF. I am usually found at BNO so wanted to see if there was life outside Pinks ....I wasnt disappointed. Spent the afternoon shopping in Leeds and have to say that they have a great range of shops and everyone was really friendly. I was staying just down the road from The Cosmo, a focal point for the early part of the evening and found the atmosphere in there really nice. Went onto 3 places afterwards and have to say the main theme was how friendly everyone was. I met Janie who is responsible for LFF and I have to say she should be incredibly proud of such a great event.....no wonder girls travel as far as they do for this night.. ..I will certainly be back.

Usual good night out with tapas at Ambiente after cocktails in Smokestack for a change. Cosmo very busy again and my partner for the evening did remark that the girls on show were by and large very well turned out this time which was very nice to hear. The only downer is the increased cost of parking the damn motor. With a validated ticket from Marriott or Travelodge it used to be £9 or £10 respectively for 24 hours but since May 1st ( apparently ) it has jumped right up. I entered the NCP at Trinity about 12.30 pm and left before 12.30am. So for slightly less than 12 hours it cost me £15 with the Marriott concession and would have cost me £27 without. This needs to borne in mind when working out your budget for the evening.
