Another fantastic night (well only my second one!!) at LFF. I can never quite believe what such a wonderful community this is! I only got down late due to a gig earlier on in the evening (equally good by the way!) I was lucky enough to have a friend let me use her room at Cosmo's to get dressed. I'd only just arrived when her friend came back not feeling too well, but I ended up having such a lovely chat whist getting ready. I tottered around the corner and bumped in to new friends from the last LFF, before heading to Fibre. I found my other friends, and had such a lovely time, met new friends too!! What is bad to say? Maybe cheaper beer!! :-) I feel so safe on this night, it's all so incredible so thank you!! :-)

Well March 2nd was my first LFF, aside from the weather, the 6.5 hours it took to get there (also weather related). I had a fantastic night, met some lovely girls and guys. The people of Leeds are so nice and friendly. Hotel Cosmo was very nice, Drinks a little pricey but hey you can't have everything. All in all fab and well be the first of many nights in Leeds. Can't believe it's been going for 10 years. Happy anniversary LFF. P.s Glad the girl that fell into the river is ok #don't drink and swim #bloody cold |

I was one of the many girls who braved the snow and the cold this month, wouldn't want to miss my favorite weekend... March was my fifth LFF in a row now and I just love the whole weekend. There seems to be no end of new people to meet and chat to, new venues to be discovered and fun to be had... I'll be there again in April for the 10th anniversary which should be a bit of an occasion Helen xx |

Very upset the bar managemet didnt put promo offer on a t cosmo 100 plus rhere ???? Bar fibre ecxellent freindly staff superb dj played some cracking tunes |

Had a great time as always met some lovely girls saw some new faces was a lovely event well worth attending if you want a makeover see Josephine she is Leeds base and a very friendly woman I stay at the roomzz next the cosmopolitan in there smart studio apartment it was fabulous and for the price excellent

Hi everyone. I wrote this on another thread but thought I'd share my experiences on here too: I had my first proper night out on Friday at LFF in Leeds and it was just so amazing I thought I'd let you know! :-) I'd been out a couple of times in the past dressed but it was quite a few years ago, and don't think I was anywhere need the stage I've found myself at over the last couple of months since I've been on Chix. To be fair, I was completely terrified before leaving the flat and had spent all day getting prepared with the butterflies flapping merrily around my tummy :-) But, I just knew that this was something I needed to do. I'd been hoping to meet up with some girls on here but the weather put paid to that sadly. There were more than a few wardrobe and make up malfunctions during my preparations, but finally (after a couple of glasses of wine!) I was ready and managed to summon up the courage to ring the taxi. I hardly said a word to the driver on the way down to The Cosmopolitan Hotel on the way, I was so nervous. When I went in, I headed straight for the bar!! I tried to catch a few people's eye and started talking to a lovely girl, Katie, who was with a group, some of who it was their first or second time out. I was put totally at ease and felt so relaxed just talking with people I'd only just met, everyone was so so friendly. And to be out dressed, it just felt really natural. We went round the bars round and about, and I really can say that I didn't hear a negative comment to or about anyone all night. Even when I got lost and separated from my new friends in the club, some other girls came and rescued me and took me in to their fold before I was reunited. Just being outside walking between bars, dressed with a nip in the air was such an incredible feeling :-) I really can't believe the whole experience could have gone any better, and I've come away with such wonderful memories, new friends and a boosted confidence - I even got some nice comments!! :-) I understand that some people aren't able to get out due to personal circumstances, and which is really sad because I know they are desperate to do so. I really hope they do get the opportunity because it has just been such a life affirming thing to do for me and would recommend it to everyone! I can't thank everyone on here and the few people I've recently come out to so much for their support to get me to this point. And to TVChix which has opened my eyes and helped me so much.
