Not really an event. People meet friends and go to various bars on Gay Street... most are expensive and were fairly empty. LFF is not an 'event' one should go to alone. |

My 44th LFF and what a wonderful night! It was, sadly, the last LFF starting from the Marriott (we'll be starting in Viaduct from January) but what an amazing send-off! The group photos taken outside the Marriott were wonderful, a fitting tribute to a great event. Huge thanks to Jenny for organising the photographer, and Matthew for taking such amazing photos. With it being the Christmas LFF it was very busy, and it was great to see so many first-timers there too. The event continues to grow and is going from strength to strength. The atmosphere was amazing and it was one of the most social LFFs I have ever been to, chatting to so many different people. I've said it before and I'll say it again, If you're looking to get out in public, LFF is the event for you. And if you are on your own or nervous, get in touch - we have a team of volunteers to look after newbies who might need a little assistance. A fabulous, fabulous night. |

My first LFF and it was the Christmas one too. What a night, went back for more on the Saturday. Everything I had been told it would be and more.

Another long and lovely LFF night, 9 hours of chatting, dancing, renewing friendships and making new ones; with hugs, drinks, and a few photos squeezed in along the way. There really is no other night quite like it. A very fitting way to end 2022 and our last time starting in the Marriott bar. The Viaduct will certainly be different but I hope we can make it feel as much like home as the Marriott and Cosmo have been. Roll on January! :) |

Great night out had by myself and all. It was nice catching up with friends and meeting new people at the event. It's well attended and plenty of very excellent venues definitely be back in 2023. |

A very crowded and (festive?) event, how its changed in 10 years I wasn't sure about the change to the Marriott after the - Cosmo but at least places to sit and chat. I do wonder how it will be at the Viaduct? Good to see a few old friends and a wonderful insight from a gay guy from Saudi -"it made him tingle with excitement, seeing people express themselves! |

So the last LFF of 2022 and a fabulous night out as ever, even another new venue under our wings! Lovely group photo to end the year and say goodbye to the Marriott Bar as our host venue. Lovely to see more new girls coming along. Always so nice to get the chance to chat with them and welcome them into the LFF family. I still remember my first LFF in 2014 and how that friendly smile and chat makes all the difference. Just a reminder on that for anyone going alone, first time ever or simply rare opportunities, there's a group within LFF always happy to meet and greet just get in touch. So a chance in Jan to welcome a place we know well but now our host venue in the Viaduct Showbar. See you in 2023 x |

Another absolutely incredible LFF night. Sadly the end of an era as it was the last to start at the Marriott hotel bar (for at least a while, maybe not forever). Thanks to all my friends old & new for being so fab & to venues & locals for being so incredibly welcoming. Also massive thanks & shout outs to everyone involved in organising LFF from hosting to venue relations, coordinating, schmoozing & generally thinking of all the things that make LFF so incredibly diverse, friendly and above all FUN and safe for all. Goodbye to the Marriott bar, at least for now & here's to January where Viaduct Showbar will be the new start point of the evening. |

I Went to first friday DEC 22 , It was the first time i had been since pre covid , went to bar area at marriot where everyone was meeting , thought it was a fantastic room just what lff needed , it looked so much busier , lots seating area to chat ,was nice to see girls i knew from past , ,definately going again in january , look forward to meeting at viaduct . simon t

The last LFF of the year was always going to be busy. As it was the Christmas event as well as the final time the Marriott hosted us it was no surprise to see so many girls, partners, friends and admirers in attendance. As has been said before this made getting served a bit of a challenge in some of the bars, but this didn’t take anything away from an amazing evening. Meeting everyone was tricky but that can happen normally to this well attended event. I’ve said it before and will say it again. Leeds First Friday is the biggest and best event of its type in the UK and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone in our community. The group photo outside the Marriott was a brilliant idea and has turned out completely fabulous. Well done to Grai and her team for doing such a brilliant job. |

Been far too long since my last visit to LFF, and it was my very best yet!! Always loved LFF, and even the low temperatures didn't matter, that's what tights are for, right? My only complaint, I just wish it was over 2 nights, not one. Maybe in the future there can be a LFS, as well a LFF? Greedy I know, but a T Girl can dream. Rachel💋 |
