My first LFF but definitely not my last. This is a fantastic night out with wonderful, welcoming, friendly people in a city that seems to be very accepting of diversity, including trans. The venues I visited were all good to great, the atmosphere was fun but above all friendly (not to forget supportive), staff everywhere were brilliant and security was low visibility but ever present. A fantastic night out, which I highly recommend. I should add that I also went out on the Saturday night with a smaller group of girls, wandered around Leeds on Friday and Saturday afternoons and, at all times, found that Leeds was just as welcoming and accepting. 11/10! |

Another great night out with the usual gang Louise , Janey, Paula , Margo and Adrian. Everywhere busy but Fibre seems to be morphing into a regular straight bar nowadays not that its any problem of course with all those good looking females present. Our buffet is still excellent there. Spent a good bit of time in Smokestack for a change drinking non alcoholic cocktails at £2 a time lol. Crikey I have saved a fortune since I chucked the booze at the start of December and LFF was just as much fun sober as inebriated. See you next month.

This was my first LFF... On my own and the first time "out" for a night, I was more than a little nervous as I came down to the bar. I needn't have been. Not knowing anyone, I got a drink, nodded and smiled, said hi to a few girls, not sure of any protocols... Before long, I got chatting and started to ffel a bit easier. Thank G-d I smoke, outside in the naughty corner is always a good place to break the ice and it was true to form. When I mentioned it was my first LFF and my first time out, evryone was very supportive and complimented me on my look, which was very comforting. Unsure of where to go after the Cosmo bar, I tagged along with a group to Viaduct and we had a few in there... Watched the acts on stage who were all really good, Found a couple of T-girls who I'd spoken to earlier and they took me under their wing and we headed over the road to Fibre. Another really cool place, we headed upstairs and had a few up there, chatted and generally took in the sights. Finished up back in the hotel bar for a long series of nightcaps before heading off to bed, A great night out with some wonderful people. Work commitments mean that I cannot attend LFF every month but rest assured, I will be there again whenever I can. I checked out of the Cosmo in the morning and walked |

Early January should be quiet, people are skint or recovering from New Years eve celebrations, not so in Leeds. Once again LFF delivered, great turn out, lots of new faces, reasonable hotel rates and a half price "happy hours" drinks deal in the Cosmopolitan "T-Girl Hub" hotel bar. Next stop Bar Fibre, level 2 free food for the girls, sophisticated atmosphere, balcony scene for smokers. Cross the road to the Viaduct, lively, bustling and so friendly. A few places were closed, the loft and the cuban bar. Can't report much more than that as I headed back to the Cosmopolitan and sat drinking and yakking till about 2.30am before retiring to my comfy bed in the nearby Travelodge (£43 including all you can manage brekkie and 24hr wi-fi) for some beauty sleep. Great night.

Wow, first time at something like this and what an amazing experience. The girls were so supportive, the guys so gentlemanly. Janie is an amazing organiser. I hit 4 of the bars and in every one the atmosphere was encouraging. The variety of venues was amazing from DJs to cabaret. For anyone feeling scared of a first time venture out, you couldn't go to a better event. If anything, a suggestion would be a newbies area but so much support from everyone made it a night to remember but just saying "I'm new" drew amazing friendliness. LFF, you are fantastic! |

Another fantastic night at The Cosmopolitan and the other venues involved in LFF... Its now my third visit in a row and I've loved every minute of all three visits. Each time I attend I've met a whole new group of girls, its hard to explain how warm and friendly this event is.... so get yourself there. Helen xx |

My first LFF was a night I really didn't expect. Thought I'd be out for an hour, but was adopted by a group of wonderful, interesting and genuinely funny people. They made my night so great. And this is the thing with LFF, you're just welcomed in. I didn't know anyone, yet someone came over to chat to me and within an hour I was part of a group. Such a relaxed, fun night out. |

This is my second anniversary of attending LFF and it gets better every time I visit. Each of the venues in Leeds is wonderful in its own special way, but they are all very friendly and supportive of the girls. I love being surrounded by people who are like me, yet different in so many little ways, and I always feel comfortable. Thank you Janie for your efforts in organising such a marvelous event. |

Had a fab time at the “Christmas LFF” , the disco at the cosmopolitan really added to the night, even won a prize in the raffle (jammy bitch) lol Leeds is such a fun night out , go if you haven’t tried it ! Thanks to Janie and all who attended you looked amazing !! Merry Christmas xx |

My first time out for over 18months following some health issues...great to catch up with old friends and new...fantastic night great organisation and even the weather had warmed up to get away with a short dress and stockings..
