Fun night as usual. I started with drinks in Viaduct (top tip: the little cocktail bar is a nice way of avoiding the queue and slow service at the main bar). Then I headed down to Viva for Michelle’s “Feeding Friendsie” meal. As usual, a fun eclectic bunch and lovely service, a nice way to start the evening - highly recommended. After that it was mainly Smokestack all the way for me for dancing and drinks with good friends and great atmosphere.

A fabulous evening as always. It didn’t appear to be as busy as I’ve seen it but I suppose with the Christmas event just around the corner and the hotel prices being so expensive some might have missed last night and opted to go in December instead. Starting in the viaduct still feels a little strange but maybe that’s down to the fact that we had 2 great venues in the Cosmo and the Marriott previously where people could chat before hitting the various bars in the area. I was flying solo through the evening but did manage to chat to a lot of girls throughout a wonderful evening. I even managed to chat with a legendary hero of mine in Queens court, the fabulous David Dale, who’s drag act I saw on tv in 1984 (according to David, which shows my age!!). Thanks to everyone and I’ll see you again in December x |

Another good night in Leeds bumping into a few old friends for a catch up but I limited myself to Fibre and Smokestack early on and Blayd's and the New Penny later on before Smokestack to finish . The weather was not really conducive to walking too far and I had thought about going to Maven and other bars away from Briggate but that will have to be another evening. Seemed fairly quiet everywhere apart from Smokestack later on which was busy. I would have preferred to have had a companion with me after Louise could not make it but I found plenty of friendly peeps throughout the evening . No sign of trouble anywhere and no stink of weed in the streets which was a nice relief . Maybe all that rain has purged the drains and sewers of Leeds !!!

Another fabulous night in Leeds, Viaduct and the shows were fabulous as always, mixing with friends in End Bar and dancing to the classic Soul and RnB in Smokestack a perfect night out

First, a good enjoyable evening was had, a good number of girls out too and everyone friendly too. This was my first time been to LFF since before Covid and did find things different especially with the on going Cosmo closure which was / has always been the main meeting point at the beginning and end of the evening - it was a good social part of the event. Sadly, there does not seem to be a replacement unfortunately as the 'Viaduct' is ok as meeting place at the beginning of the evening but not the same though (as well as loud, understandably). Also I had notice come about midnightish, unlike previously, there were always plenty of girls around but not on this occasion, I assume they were all in the bars spread around the area - a good thing but it was dominated by the students where ever you went, previously not as much. I think the lost of the 'Cosmo' has had affect on LFF unfortunately but hopefully that will change, fingers cross. Will I go again, yes but not until next year.

Great night out around Leeds LGBTQi Quarter plenty of differing bars to choice from ,don't have to stay at one place Great for newbies a dedicated group meet any new or first timers make them feel comfortable and take them around the bars A general meeting point for most is The Viaduct Showbar It is generally better if you find a group or somebody to hang about with vast majority of people are friendly and welcoming And get the App ...via Google The Leeds First Friday App gets you discounted drinks in some places and drink offers in others however there are one or two bars that increase the price before applying the discount ,its a bit naughty but it is what it is Generally a good all round night ,my only regret was having to leave early due to an early start the following morning |

Go girls!! It's a great night out with lots of other girls. I had a makeover with Gill @makeovergirl. Wow 😍 loved it. The night was going well until the cold started catching up! So I decided to leave around 12. As usual I didn't get photos, I forget about it 🙄. All venues as usual supportive, I had no issues. See you all in December. Not sure about November!! |

Dinner in Chaophraya, great service and food, and a lovely compliment from a gentleman at a nearby table. Then drinks at Viaduct and Smokestack. Overall it felt a bit quiet (not necessarily a bad thing 😀) but plenty of girls out and the usual welcoming atmosphere everywhere.

Havent been for over 2 years and it was great to be back. Got to do a daylight reccy, so i understand where most of the pubs are now. Not that its hard as they are mostly all on 1 street. I am of the opinion that a different pub should be used for the meet up. With the Marriott is was quite open and you could hear yourself talk. I think that what you need for your 'start off' pub. Maybe the Revolution de Cuba would be good for this. Stayed at the Ibis budget. Good billy basic hotel 10/15 min walk to viaduct. Lovely to spend time with my friend Rachael and also meet every t girl i know lol.

My 59th LFF, always a great night out. This month helped 3 newbies get out who all really enjoyed their night. Started in The Bridge, then the packhorse, then The End bar then Smokestack If you’re a newbie wanting to get out for the first time then get yourself along to LFF you won’t regret it. So well attended by so many lovely friendly people. What you waiting for! Gemma |
