Last month the invasion didn't start until past 11pm. So this month I travelled to Nottingham and arrived at around 9:30 ish. No one there or maybe they had "invaded" earlier. Bit of a wasted journey. Rescued somewhat by a lovely chat with Nic.

This was my 13th Notts invasion, was a good night but shame it’s not better attended. It used to be about invading all the non-lgbt venues in Nottingham but these days seems to be about staying in the Foresters. I like the new foresters but can do that anytime. Gemma |

A good turnout of attendees again and several bars visited. The sounds being played by the DJ at the New Foresters were right up my street too!!

After a miserable snarl up on the M1 I eventually arrived (late!) and the party was in full swing. The pub provided several delicious pizzas to keep everyone going. The drag DJ doing her best with the dancing sounds. Staff are lovely.

The 100th Invasion. Very well attended. A massive cake for celebrations. I'm still trying to work out why no one puts they are going to this event yet still turn up.

Once again it was quite quiet tho' those that were there were lovely. We went off to find an amazing 'hidden' bar in town which was delightful. The next one is #100 so I hope to be there.

It was amazing to finally get back to a Notts invasion after the lockdown. This was my 12th invasion and was the 99th Invasion to have taken place. Was amazing to get to the New Foresters and see friends I'd not seen since March 2020. Ended up at The Hockley Arts Club, not been there before. The next invasion with be the 100th !!! and will be on 17th September. And of course there is Notts Pride on 11th Sept before that. Gemma x |

Quiet (in terms of numbers). maybe a dozen gurls at most. Didn't go anywhere from the first venue but given the weather, I was quite grateful.

Amazing night out for me. Out and about in the local pubs with a friendly group of people, walking around from pub to pub with different themes. Never really experienced being dressed and being so public , all the bars so accommodating and people so friendly. If you ever want to experience a night out as a girl this is a great opportunity not to be missed. Thanks for a great night out. |

Cracking night out. Good turnout and some new faces. Nice to be able to go into 'straight' pubs and be welcomed not only by the staff, but the other customers too.
