Another enjoyable lunch with Nickie. My friend Chloe came along for the first time and provided some younger glamour. Waitress was her usual charming self and couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. A scattering of other customers who paid no attention to us so we felt perfectly secure. Weather was beautiful so I wore a summer t-shirt for the first time this year, along with my new pale blue F&F pencil skirt and new pale blue nail varnish.

Having missed the last few lunches I was glad to be able to attend this time. The atmosphere was friendly and quiet. The food looked good, though I didn't have any. Good to chat with other like minded people and the time flew. |

The number of girls attending is increasing. Thomasina was there for the first time. Once again the food and chat was great and for me it is very nice to get out dressed, meet up with the others girls. Looking forward to the next meeting.

A quiet little meet up with two other girls. Just generally chit chat about nothing and everything. Come on you other shy girls and don't be afraid, we don't bite. I arrived in drab and did quick change. |

Only two of us today. I always have a great time because the chat and food always very good. Hope to have more girls at the next meeting on the 8th April.

VFM: Great variety of main courses for only £5 and you can even have a chicken ceasar salad (my favourite) for £4.25! VENUE: The USB was actually quite busy at 1pm with both of our usual corner spots occupied by other parties. So of course we sat in the middle of the bar area instead. ATMOSPHERE: would be better with more people. I've no complaints about the other two girls who were there, we had a good time. However if we are to make this a successful social event we need more to come along. STAFF FRIENDLINESS: Staff were their usual amazing friendly selves. I love being addressed as 'madam' and enquiries such as 'are you ladies enjoying your lunch?' are always welcome :-) SECURITY: We NEVER has experienced any hassle from anyone inside or outside the venue. |

Only a small turnout but everyone enjoyed the day. Very nice bar and food great. Bar staff very friendly makes everyone feel welcome. Looking forward to the next lunch on the 11th Feb.

Small select turnout. Actually had one more girl arrive than Nickie and I were expecting. We decided to give more notice of the next event so it is arranged for 11th February. Hope to see more there xxx

The USB was, as usual, quiet - this allowed us to gather in a cosy corner of the bar and enjoy ourselves. The bar appears to have undergone a re-vamp, modernisation, which makes it more attractive, whilst still retaining a great atmosphere. Lovely to add one new member, Tara, to the group who attended and we hope to plan a christmas dinner party later in the year as well as another lunch in November, date tba. Watch this space.................. |
