Ok from a never been to sparkle perspective i think i experienced every aspect of the wkend, to loosing my massive handbag with everything in it to being followed by weirdo's down the canal, to seeing a tranny punch up to seeing a bloke knocked out with one punch. being chatted up, dancing my bloody legs off, meeting beautiful people, etc. I can understand why some people who go every year felt it was shite, We are in weird times so everyone is out to make a buck. If its that bad why go, i go out to enjoy the crack no matter what, everyone who puts their time and effort into this event should be applauded even the peeps who were on the stage, its not Glastonbury for god's sake. If youv'e never been go and enjoy yerself, i bloody well did. Go sparkle you did the community proud xxxx |

Sunday is a great chill out day...and the night is less crowded and chilled out too...do try "The Molly House" nr "The Rembrandt" ...the best new bar in town by miles

could fault this, the only problem was a little thing called a hangover!! the sun was shinning, entertainment was good, lots of interesting stalls to look at stuff. Spent the whole day dressed, lovely

Hi all This is my view on sparkle and i will tell you that its one of the best, i had a great time and met up with friends and made new ones too. the stage shows where great as all ways i was sorry not to have tranny of the year so next year i will put myself forword not that i am good looking but want this on next year. tvchix your night club rocks and i had a great time in there till it was so late about 3.30 in the morring, if you have not come to sparkle before then you must come next year. now all my thank to all who have supported this and we must keep supporting this a big thank you tvchixs Carol xx |

friday was a cracking night, Got there around 4 in the afternoon. Couldn't fault it. Brilliant, fantastic, Awesome

We had a wonderful time great place to go catch up with friends from all over the country. The diversity, individuality is a joy to be hold. Well organised and makke it what you want for you throw yourself in to the whole Sparkle experiance or just chill and catch up. Second time of going and hope for the hattrick next year |

Just got back from Sparkle and yet another great weekend..only downer was the weather but at least it brightened up for the saturday afternoon....was my second Sparkle and I enjoyed it even more than last year....everybody is part of one big family and I made so many new friends as well as meeting up with old ones too.. Roll on Sparkle 2012..xx |

Had a fab time, my wife had a stall in the park - so it was not all party time for us. We did make up for it on the night after attending a few bars and finding a rock club. Best night ever! The whole thing just gets better. It was well organised and very well attended. I had a really great time which seemed to go in a flash! The Sparkle ball was very good , especially the delicious hot pot! I even danced this time. A big thankyou to Northern Concorde and the band. Can't wait for the next one ! Lisa |
