My first time yo Totton at last. Nerves were quickly eased by a warm welcome from Eleanor. Others then made me feel at home and introduced themselves to me. I never once felt out of place, and will be certainly coming back again |

This was my last time at Totton disco after about 8 years of helping to organise it. Like many events covid lockdowns and the uncertain aftermath have meant numbers are lower, however we did manage to get over 40 last night so I think we still have a future. Maria and others have stepped up and hopefully it will blossom to it's full glory. Due to health issues and other circumstances I won't be able attend in the future so won't be posting the event up on here. If anyone who regularly attends would like to take that over please feel free. So a big thank you to all who have supported this event over the years and long may it run in years to come. I was expecting January to be a quiet month but pleasantly surprised to see the best turnout since we reopened last Summer. It's great to see new people coming along too. Hopefully as covid numbers (and most importantly hospitalisations) drop we can get back to how we used to be before. |

So this was my 4th visit to the Totton disco, the first being in October. This was porbably the busiest I have seen it with nearly 50 in attendance. October was the first time I had been out in public, on mentioning it was my first time out at the door I was looked after for the duration of the night. Sometimes it can seem like there are cliques, I would say not though more like groups of long term friends catching up with each other, be patient and brave, you won`t be left on your own someone will come talk to you and drag you to their table. I was invited to halloween at the local cabaret bar, and have been getting out every week since, New Years Eve was my best for many years. They have a lsit of events throughout the south coast which you can pick up at the door, its worth coming just for that. This event can be whatever you want it to be, I wanted to meet new people and get out as Sam, I have been out more in the last 3 months than the last 3 years, (pre COVID) I am out in Bournemouth this weekend should be good, this is all with great people originally met here. If getting out is not your thing then equally the Totton Disco is completely safe and great to go to, one of the Girls has lived in Totton all her life and only found out this disco existed after coming out, at the time her niece worked behind the bar and took her for the first time. She was flabbergasted it had been on her doorstep and she knew nothing about it. So if your in any doubt this is a great safe event. |

very popular event ,with 47 in attendance which is very good for a freezing night in january.its amazing that people come from far and wide to dance the night away

Well what a year this has been..... We had 40 people attend for our Christmas event and all seemed to go smoothly. Some people voiced concern (understandably) over the new variant of Covid whilst others weren't able to make it due to illness or other commitments. Here's hoping things settle down next year and this and lots of other events get a chance to rebuild and shine. |

Unfortunately I did not attend. I got to the library carpark and whilst walking to the venue, I was surrounded by 3 youths on cycles who started to give me abuse. I did drive around the 'block' but on returning they were still there. Rather than continue I returned to my car & came home. I was dressed pretty conservatively and I am sure that this was hopefully a one off, I have been to Totton Disco on previous occasions. |

We recently restarted Totton disco event last month and now we've had the second one. We try and create a friendly and welcoming environment and although numbers are a bit down on precovid times we're still managing to get around 40 people there. The nights are slowly closing in making it easier hopefully for girls to feel more comfortable in going out in the evenings. So why not join us for the next event on October 21st, I'll put up details on the events page soon. |

a fun night with everyone being so friendlly and nice and food available too.since a womans work is never done it was great not to have to cook dinner before a night out.will go again when i can

Our special Christmas party attracted nearly 100 people despite the atrocious wet weather that night. The raffle sold lots of tickets for some fabulous prizes (Over £200 worth). We had lots of new girls as well as some we hadn't seen in a while and of course our regulars creating a friendly warm atmosphere. Much dancing during the second half of the evening. The next event will be in January on the Third Thursday, which will be 16th. Look forward to seeing you there. |

Time to leave another review I think. We had 50 people through the door on Thursday 21st Nov, quite a few being first timers which is always encouraging. Next month is our Christmas special with free entry and extra glitz and glamour. They'll be more raffle prizes s we'd encourage people to buy some more tickets and of course have fun! Sylvie x |

Had a lovely time chatting to the girls. Excellent dj playing all genres of sounds. Welcoming smile when you go through the door. Friendly bar staff. |
