A lovely evening, the atmosphere was great, nice to meet up with friends for a drink and a chat, having said that I was not so impressed with the choice of music by our new DJ and the volume got well over the top near the end!

A great night out for tgirls and friends despite the cold weather outside. A perfect place to chat, have a dance and be yourself in a safe and accepting atmosphere.

I have run out of superlatives. Once again a fabulous event with yet another 40+ turn out. The place hummed all evening and a good time was had by all including me. I learnt a lot about using cheap batteries in my new flashgun but I still managed some great pics before the batteries died. Music was good and Eleanor organised 1/2 an hour of Donna whatshername. I was right, it was more like 20 minutes!! Here's to next month. Remember, every third Thursday each month without fail ( unless deep snow ). It was really super to see both new friends, regulars and some returning ex newbies. It is lovely to see these girls evolve and blossom. See you soon! |

Once again Totton Disco has evolved and morphed and triumphed. Over 40 t girls determined to enjoy a party and a knees up in a safe, convivial environment. New music from a temporary DJess and the extra mix of new faces and a sprinkling of wives make this still the premier event on the south coast. It has been an undying pleasure to be closely involved with the Totton Disco. You missed another good one. Can you afford to miss any more? Watch for the next one and see you there. |

This was a truly memorable night and my thanks to Eleanor and her helpers for making it a success. There were 62 people there which is a great improvement over the previous months' numbers and more like the old days when there could be upwards of a hundred girls at the Christmas party. I had started to wonder about this particular event because I felt it was losing it's way. For months there had been pretty pore attendances, only breaking even on the door, and the amount of actual disco dancing was decreasing. There are plenty of venues around where girls, particularly those just starting out on the road, can get guidance, counselling and quiet conversation but I maintain this is not one of them. The night is for partying. This does not mean that they would not be supported because we all like to help other girls like us. I am sure that the success of this one evening was due to several girls from the good times turning up but I do wonder why so many new girls attending have only stayed for two or three months and not to be seen again. Most likely because of the time wasting between the dancing! This venue is good and the staff are welcoming. There is food and drink available, good parking and one of the best DJs in the south for the music. There is also an optional dress theme. What will 2016 do for this event? Well, lets start with the success of this particular night and welcome back the old members plus lots of new girls and build up from there. |

As a regular visitor to Totton disco the Christmas party went off wonderfully. 60+ girls and guys and a wonderful relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This event is held regularly every Thursday and is a great place make friends in a safe and secure environment. See you there in 2016. |

The best Totton Disco for a long time with a high score of 61 attendees. Mince pies and mulled wine added spice to a wonderful evening with old and new faces plus brilliant music. The theme for this month's Totton Disco was the Swinging Sixties and the music was truly reflective of that decade of awakening and true expression. However, I thought that the most wasn't made of the dress theme with the colours and styles of that time and not many girls bothered. Numbers weren't particularly good and I missed seeing quite a few of my friends there but I did make some new friends which was a consolation. The venue is a good one, bar service excellent and you will get a warm welcome so if you haven't been before, why not venture out for the Christmas Party (with buffet) on the 17th December. |
