I have been going to Ted's Place now for about fifteen years. It is rather like going home now. Many of the same faces. Ted is great. He tells me he has been running Ted's for nearly thirty years. Thus this club is part of the social commentary of the UK tv scene. Be sure to visit so you can truly claim that your were part of its success. |

Hi Girls and Boys I went along to Teds Halloween Night lots of Happy Friendly people I Witched up as did some of the other Girls also some other very striking costumes! Went to Ted's in August - it was my first time and being honest probably isn't really my scene. Firstly, don't turn up for the first couple of hours after it opens; it doesn't really get going until after 10 even on a week night. Secondly, although it is a friendly venue, it is very much a place for people to hook up with each other. There were several admirers and girls all sitting by themselves (not talking) and weighing each other up. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat. There were several very good looking girls and who had clearly made a real effort. The venue is a bit dingy (and seedy). If you are looking for a place to go and meet and hook up that's friendly then this would be a great place to go. If you are looking for a more social evening (where you can chat), then there are better venues to choose. |
