I arrived quite late this time, passing Judith and Rachael on their way out, so I was a little concerned that things would be winding down, but I needn't have worried. There were still a bevy of beauties putting the world to rights, all looking fabulous (ample changing areas are available for any ladies unable to dress at home). Just the sort of atmosphere a nervous attendee needs to feel welcome. Den mother Norma didn't seem to be around, but she had sent her lovely younger sister to keep things in order. There was tea, coffee and cake (you can have cake with tea as well... punctuation is a minefield). Conversation was many and varied so I am sure you could find someone at TM who shares your worldview (I even had a bit of a geek-out with Fiona and Mackayla). Nine pm rolled around too quickly (like I say, I was very late), and we all made for the pub, where everyone is very respectful (and noone bats an eyelid) and conversation continued until the Karaoke started, at a volume which makes chatting a little more difficult, which might be an annoyance if it wasn't delivered with such joie de vivre. You may be nervous, but every girl there was nervous at some point too and they keep on returning because it is a safe place for self-expression (and because they now have friends here). Oh, do come join us! x |

Another great social evening - why else would I drive an hour each way to get there? Topped off by two amazing Karaoke turns by Hilde and Kalla down at the pub :) Come along next time!

I had a Great evening. It was a little quieter than the last meeting (about 15 rather than 40+) but nice in a different way because I could get to know people better... I can strongly recommend Transmatters to any girls in or out as a safe, friendly, secure place to meet socially ...

Chat, cake, tea, a pub, drinks, more chat ... what is there not to like about this great night out! 'Star of the night' award goes to Hilde's girlfriend who dropped into the pub with her handsome boyfriend ... who somehow seemed strangely familiar ... :-)

One of the friendliest places you can possibly go to meet other girls, have a chat and a coffee .. and let yourself be persuaded to take a walk down the road to the pub with the other girls. Always a great night.
