I've been going to Transmatters for around a year now and I have to say I absolutely love the gathering. Katie's place is so welcoming, serving a variety of hot and cold food and drinks which are well presented and delicious. I fully recommend trying something from the selection of their home baked cakes too. The social gathering has a very chilled and relaxed vibe, where you're able to chat with some wonderful people from all sorts of backgrounds, who all share a common thread. After Katie's closes at 9pm, then head off to the Lichgate Arms to continue the evening until closing time. There's a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding within the group, which for me, I find quite comforting. If anyone reads this who's contemplating popping along, put the nerves aside and come say hello. You'll be made to feel welcome by all and I'm certain you'll be back. Tara |

A good turn out for another enjoyable night at Transmatters. KTeas is a fabulous place for good food and chat and the open mic 🎤 night at the Lychgate Tavern afterwards was excellent. Highlight of the evening was the hugely talented Dave from our group playing his set - fantastic performance. A genuinely inclusive night out where we can feel at home being ourselves.

Another good night at Transmatters as always good food and drink and excellent company. A chance to talk property with friends and share joys, news, information and troubles which isn’t always possible elsewhere. A support network and good social night rolled into one. Highly recommend for first timers as a great starting point socially and for experienced girls who want to share an evening with likeminded girls. |
