This was my first visit to Lovejoys and my first ever public outing as Pippa, so to say I was nervous is an understatement. However, I shouldn't have been. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel incredibly welcome. I had my makeup done by Suzie and met some lovely girls who all made such an effort to speak to me and set me at ease. If you are thinking about taking that first step into public life then I would highly recommend Lovejoys. Remember, everyone there has the same passion for dressing and I was blown away at how amazing everyone looked. Sadly I can't become a regular, but I will be back! Thank you everyone for making first outing as Pippa so enjoyable. |

According to 'science' no two winter snowflakes are the same and can probably say the same about the LJ events. The 'molecules' that make it up (the venue, the team, the regulars etc) form the shape, but its the random parts that make it different. Eg yesterday there was a pro photographer snapping the event and the girls (I declined the kind offer of a personal portrait session due to possible wig/makeup malfunctions :) ) Then we had 4-5 totally newbie Admirers and I also chatted to and showed the lovely first time out 'Shy_Girl_Pippa' around the venue who I hope felt comfortable and relaxed with the event. Fewer guests than usual for whatever reasons, however that didn't seem to detract from people having a lot of 'fun'.

What a complete waste of life. What sort of club doesn't have lockers This is the first time I've ever tried this club after reading all the good reviews. After driving for 3 hours. I went in male mode first to try to ask about the club's facilities size of lockers and things. Becouse you say don't arrive in female mode i expect there to be safe area to get changed and do my makeup and leave my belongings safely All the bloke on the door wanted was my money like a soho clip joint. I went back to my car to try and sort out the bare minimal to take in with me when I thought I'm being taken for a mug and decided to go and get my money back they couldn't understand my concerns If you think I'm going to leave my bag with hundreds of pounds worth of kryolan makeup just lying around to get nicked or damaged. I was made as welcome as a fart in a wetsuit .in 25 years of dressing I have never been made to feel like giving up like I have today . It looked nice enough and I'm sure loads of people love it there but not me I worst experience yet |

Always a brilliant party with wonderful hosts and yummy buffet too, in a gorgeous venue.
