Always a nice turn out on wednesdays from local girls and ones staying over. Wide choice of bars, start at Iconic. Even venture out to Northern quarter later too. Recommended x

20+ ladies were in Iconic Bar bay this week 8-11, friends old and new. Chix events had zero attending so a reminder that the number from Chix that say they are coming does not indicate how many ladies will be out on in Manchester on a Wednesday as there are lots of locals and also people from out of town who just drop in and are either not users of Chix or don't use the events notification.

The evening was as was ever nice, safe and a chance for ladies to compare their journeys with each other, gain and share insights and make new friends.

So we had another cool afternoon and evening out with friends and visitors, first meeting up was No1 Bookshop (cafe) yummy cake and nice chat with Susie and Patricia.

Then on the Chakalaka NQ where Sarah N. Monique Conway and Linda Leaa Sardi joined us for a tasty dinner from their South African menu, food was lovely, staff were so cool and welcoming and we go 50% off mains so cool!

Then on to Iconic where about another dozen ladies joined us.

We stayed there until 11pm when most of the ladies dispersed around the Village while Patricia, James and I took the 10 minute walk to Terrace NQ where everyone from the door staff to the DJ to the bar staff are busy so very welcoming and cool so we just stayed until it closed, a happy bunny evening xxx

Well today was interesting! Most Village bars and clubs turned themselves on their heads due to the Pride weekend preperations, as we now go wider afield than just the village that was not a problem for the experienced and confident ladies but we did need to re-arrange our routine for the less experienced and more shy ladies who see the village as a safe location for them which is understandable.
Amanda and I started at 2pm with me filming her for Amanda's YouTube channel around the Catherdral area of the city. We made a minor kerfuffle as we tend to do :)
The delightful Patricia joined us at 4pm when we went for chats and drinks at the Oxnoble in Liverpool Street, Castlefield.
Then we three met Justine, Bobbi and Clarissa who had contacted me on facebook from the South Coast as they were touring the North West for a few days. We 6 had a lovely dinner in the very accommodating Italiana55 in Liverpool Street and got an amazing 50% off promotion on the food which helped our budgets a lot.
Iconic was closed for Pride preperations so we chose to go to Velvet instead as they were keeping their business as usual. I messaged everyone on our various chat platforms to let them know where we were and over 20 ladies joined us with one cisgender male ally and a lovely chatty evening was had by all including the South Coast ladies and a new lady to our network from Chester.
Amanda, Patricia and I left the group at midnight when they went to tour the Village while we went on a tour of the later opening bars in Northern Quarter. We got our usual warm reception there and to be honest I feel more welcomed and more safe in Northern Quarter than in the Village these days, 2024 is a world much more open to diversity so please consider leaving the LGBT "safe" areas for other safe places that will accept diversity. That kind of trans visibility does help us all to be more accepted and more acceptable but only if we dress and behave sensibly and to fit in with the public at large.
We 3 spent some cool time chatting among ourselves and locals at the cool Mean Eyed Cat on Oldham Street and the super cool Terrace NQ in Thomas Street, two of my favourite venues. Finally we reluctantly headed home across the city centre at 2am-ish
So there you have it, even when the Village goes mildly potty, we Manchester ladies are resourceful and still have a really cool and super relaxed time together.

Lovely night.
Always a lovely night.
Slightly different, due to a combination of factors.
Delightful meal with 3 girls from Hampshire who were touring 'the North '.
Relaxed couple of hours in Velvet, where the girls congregated.
Then off to explore the Northern Quarter with Alison and Amanda.
Loved it.
Thank you so much 😘

I visited the lovely and very lively iconic in Manchesters wonderful LGBTQ+ district and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Bar is a great place to meet gorgeous girlie's and guys, with a good selection of drinks and lovely atmosphere. Alison was so kind to be "host", diligently introducing everyone and making all the attendees feel so welcome. Loved chatting with everyone, and I even met the delightful Dr Andrea Kitten. Wish I could be a regular, but alas being a Southern girl I'll have to find my own iconic bar nearer moi. Hugs n Kisses Deeds 💋
