Stumbling through the puddles in sensible shoes, I broke my previous record for buying then losing a brolly, and still had my best nite yet (of many) at LFF. The atmosphere was especially friendly, and having had some serious medical issues this year, it was great to be back looking like a hungover, plumper Germaine Greer while my girls tolerated me. Peak times. Happy Xmas and NY everyone. Gurls rool! x

An amazing event. Possibly the best night out I’ve had in a long time. Everyone so welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend it for the newbies

Another good night in Leeds so my resolution to cease attending didn't stop long !! Not as many girls out as I expected no doubt owing to the weather but plenty I knew and chatted to and several RGs too who just came over and started conversations including a fire safety officer for Leeds fire brigade who was telling me all about her duties , building regs and that sort of stuff. Dinner in Viva with Alana good as always . Smokestack for mocktails good as always and very busy by 10pm . I had a glass of wine in Bridge Social and they had a good DJ playing until closure at midnight. On the way home and walking down Briggate about 11pm I decided to have a look in Fibre for old times sake. I could not make out a single T girl in there at that time. Packed with a young straight crowd all the girls looking very glam and the guys not so glam with some in trainers !!! At one time you couldn't get in there at all in trainers. Door security staff quite busy as well coming upstairs to grab single males being a nuisance . A lot has changed since the pandemic.

Brilliant as always. "Bridge End Social" was really bustling around 8:00pm. Lovely mixture of old and new faces of all age groups. If you've never been, it really is the biggest and best monthly trans event in the country. Many venues to choose from after leaving B.E.S. . All with free entrance!

There can’t be a more supportive group to step out with for your first time. Just try it. Thanks to everyone I met and spoke with. My second time there and a whirl. Definitely be back in Janxx

Another good night out in Leeds having supper with Alana and chatting to a few old friends in the bars but I'm going to give it a rest now along with resting Robynn. It has been a wonderful journey which I would not have missed for the world but things do change over time and I just feel that now is a good time for a complete break. I'm sure LFF will still be going strong if I ever decide to resume the journey. xx

Lff what a great night out! So many girls ! And they were all so gorgeous! Met some lovely people and the bars were amazing! Especially the viaduct and amazing cabaret acts. Can't wait to come again ! Wish this was closer to me ! But so worth the travel ! Many thanks to the organisers! Lots of love Suzie xx

It was a good night out as always despite the problems with trains from London following the incident / fatality ? at Grantham. Unfortunately I was finished and done for by 9pm but I did bump into and managed a chat with two old regulars who ran LFF in previous years namely Cindy and Rachel who both looked fabulous and are clearly enjoying life. Caught up and brought them up to speed regarding one or two mutual friends .

Despite the trains being a nightmare on the day it was worth the trip up. A great night with a nice selection of bars to enjoy dance drink food and general social. Great night and glad I finally made it up for the event, definitely need to get up there again!
