well........i have made excuses,talked myself out of going and lied to myself about going for too long and this friday i had no excuses, nadda, zip!!!...so, i decided to drive my skinny little bottom over to leeds (a few dramas getting there but i made it lol). arrived rather later than planned but found that that didn't matter at all. i was greeted by a wonderful warm welcome from the staff at cosmos who sorted me out a last min room and a drink along with a very detailed plan of whats what in terms of LFF. then i took a breath and thought right i will sit in the corner and see whats what and who's who.........that failed straight away as instantly as i walked in the bar i was greeted by a number of the girls and instantly made to feel comfortable....(ty girls and Steve). afterwards a night moving from bar to bar happened and to be fair no problems anywhere (my friends know nothing lol). overwhelmed with how busy it was and as a first timer to LFF i am recommending it all! sadly i am unable to attend again until September but i will be going again. |

Really nice crowd in the Cosmo and around the many bars. Really good vibe, welcomed and looked after in all the venues. First of many visits x

I visited the UK for a short holiday...the Leeds first friday was something special...still telling my friends back here about it...would love to do it again some time...never seen so many girls in the one place before...

This was my Eighth LFF and one of my most enjoyable ones, Met so many lovely people as always. A few new people that had not been out before and welcomed them to LFF. Hope to get to one very soon. Gemma x |

This was my first attendance at leeds and wasnt dissapointed. The hotel location and staff were very friendly and accomodating. It is a great place to meet up ,other trans friendly venues were also welcoming.This all makes it great event . I hope it continues . We could have done with propper air conditioning in the room ,in summer I think my lippy will melt before I do. Joanne |

My first ever LFF.. what a blast! Had loads of fun, met some lovely new friends and will definitely return :) For any girls who've not yet ventured outside I really recommend going. No stress, so accepting and once you've been you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner :) x

Another great night in Leeds. All our friends out. Went easy on the booze which was a great idea. Food in Fibre excellent as usual. Plenty of girls out but the rest of Leeds seemed a bit quieter this time.

Consistently........... well consistent in being a safe fun place to just chill out, even the local drunks are super friendly if not a little difficult to understand especially the guy on a skateboard who proposed ! I love life's characters and Leeds seems to have its fair share. Thankfully all just adding to what has to be 'The place to be' ..... Try the Mavern for real edge, its my favourite place at the mo. This was my first time at LFF and first proper social as Jessica. It was AMAZING to see so many beautiful ladies out. The event went so well for me (I'm not that comfortable in social gatherings) because I was looked after all night by regular attenders. This was due to Chix being such a great site. I was with another person on their first night out too. The acceptance, kindness and help was incredible. A real community. The whole ambience of the event was one of happiness. People making so much effort to travel and attend....and wow can these people party...I couldn't keep up, in bed at 3:45am...and I presumed I was one of the younger ones! Couldn't ask for more really (except..well you know) going to an event with people I've never met before 10/10 |
