well worth dragging myself across London on a cold January night. the company warmed my heart as usual and I had a great time. headed to trisha's afterwards with a couple of the girls but it was shut so went to the cabaret downstairs in freedom instead x |

What a great place and great group. Finally made it down and glad I did. Was nice to meet new people and have a nice chat and drinks, nice and lively place too, will definitely be going back again at some point!

As this was my first time away from Sweet Wednesday as Janine I have no way of comparing my experience but what I can say is the venue (we were upstairs) was gorgeous to look at and the table of ladies made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Some might say a little tame but it all depends what you are looking for. As someone experiencing the wonderful freedom and expression our community excels at for the first time, I would have no hesitation to return. Climbing those stairs in my heels sent my head and heart soaring. Thank you to the wonderful people who orchestrate this event.

Another great night at the Retro Bar with numbers growing as the evening went on. This is a really good event for visitors to London and newbies out and about where you can meet a friendly group in a welcoming and safe pub environment. We moved upstairs as the karaoke was quite loud in the downstairs bar!
