A fantastic night at LFF, Lisa and I had a wonderful time with our gorgeous friend Bliss who was over from France for a couple of weeks. Stayed at the Doubletree which was fabulous especially as I got a free room upgrade. Had a wonderful evening in the usual haunts and great to see so many friends there all looking stunning as ever. A thoroughly enjoyable night although accommodation costs have risen hence the 4/5 for VFM overall. |

One of the best nice I ever had at LFF The early meet up at the beer 🍺 festival was different But a pain to get back from. But the rest of the night was efinitely what the Birthday 🎂 girl could of hoped for 🥳 Always great 👍 catching up with old friends 🧡 and making new ones And forgetting who everyone name, bit you recognise them from somewhere If you seen me say hi Susan Scott 💜 |

I’ve now done 4 LFFs in a row. I love it so much. Great people, great venues, all feels very safe so idea if you’ve not been out before or are still gaining your confidence.

My first LFF tonight, I was very nervous but Leeds is such an amazing city and the people who run the event are event better!! I felt free, easy, relaxed and at home from the moment I stepped my heel into the door! I’m now hooked so well done LFF gang! I’ve got a feeling I’m gonna be seeing more of you!! Holly. Xxx |

The Smokestack “funkier than a mosquito’s tweeter” Hello everyone … Katie’s in The Smokestack along with a lot of other people and many of the LFF girls… It’s around midnight now and Katie’s had a couple of drinks and so has everyone else … Musically this place has its colours nailed firmly to the mast and it’s a mixture of Blues R&B Soul & Funk and it’s time to get down … The dance floor and bar is on the top floor in case you’ve missed it. Upstairs is a mastery of simplicity with a bar, a few tables an stools with a slightly elevated dance floor which is home to a few disco lights. Photos of some of the original Blues artists adorn one wall… Its busy, and I squeeze onto the dance floor and dance along with everyone … Modesty the DJ hides in his booth playing non stop music including many rare songs along with some Northern Soul classics … He should really take a bow! Thanks for the brilliant music !.. I love this place… Lots love Katie xx |
