Turned up for the first time, nice host greeted at door and I observed gurls , all in their prim twin sets, mostly of a mature age sitting at tables like a school dinning room, not the vibe of the pubs and events I'm use to where of a younger and mixed crowd, the place lacked any vibe so I didn't stay long. Terrible parking, unlit muddy uneven ground, not clear that you could actually park there as it was full of minibuses and vans. |

Although a veteran of some 64 Transliving (and previously Transessex) events, this was my first visit to the Basildon venue. Great to see some familiar faces, like Alison_Essex (for the first time in a quarter of a century!) and Jenny M, last seen at a Harrogate weekend. And a hello to Angela_Clarke, and thanks for the photos. A good venue, although there wasn't a huge attendance last night, and I found the music a bit too loud at times, making conversation difficult, but then I'm very old! |

Good atmosphere, as usual. Lots of friendly people there, including the organisers. The music was the same as always, but that is to be expected. Good to see the numbers increasing as the evening wore on. One complaint - it was very difficult to get parked at the venue as the car park was full of vans and mini buses. This is a new phenomenon and my put people off attending in future. |

Disappointing, to be frank. All the ingredients were there for the usual good times: nice venue, very good disco, friendly bar staff. The only problem was there were less than twenty in attendance. Transliving is usually packed. Come on girls and boys, don't let this lovely event fade away. Maybe it was the awful weather kept people from going. |

A good evening out . Went with Susanne and the other girls we both know a few new faces. Bar staff excellent disco was good played a variety of tunes. Well worth going to this event |
