Our second sparkle but this was the best, maybe weather done it but all the same just a brilliant time, seen so many girls from here, chatted to a few but as always shy in case I got it wrong. Security was extra high which was very assuring, bands were great I thought nice bit of alternative music, bars and security was all good this year, so welcoming to us all, had a laugh with some police persons as well. will be back in future, loved every minute of our stay. Love to you all Kimberly xxx |

first ever sparkle and after eight years on the scene i was'nt expecting much but i got ready and got out there and within minutes i had women cooing and complimenting me and my partner and friends who also looked stunning , within ten minutes we were draped around a pride police car for impromptu piccies , and as soon as we entered the park the police were asking me and candy to pose with them for their albums .... how much of a buzz did that give us , 20 years ago they would have tried to arrest us now they love us after a brief totter round canal street it was hit manc and go shop , now a city the size of manchester is always going to be a challenge for new folk but just lap it up as manchester loves you and even waiting outside primark with candy we didnt get a single bad word against us , going back to canal st for the evening was mad ... the street was rammed , didnt get a single grope and security was on the ball all night , was a perfect night |

I actually went on the 9th and 10th (but I won't tell if you won't ;) ) Excellent fun as always , met up with some old friends and made some new ones too !! It was raining which was a bit of a hindrance in the Park but it didn't stop people from having fun and looking gorgeous , the music and other entertainment was excellent and the £15 for Sunday (£25 for both days) in the Lounge / VIP area well worth it .. If you haven't been before , it is a great place to meet people - Trans friendly so no need to be nervous and always plenty of people more than happy to take you under their wing ! xxx |

A great weekend in Manchester. The main event in the gardens was well organised and smoothly run with a lovely party atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the TransMCR event I attended at the LGBT foundation in Richmond Street.

Wow still recovering from the weekend and its now Wednesday My first time at Sparkle and it certainly wont be my last one. The atmosphere was electric all weekend and although the weather wasn't great it didn't dampen the spirits just made it more of a challenge Met loads of friends up there and made some new ones too I even got stopped by a gurl who I havn't seen for years and she still recognised me Nicky if you read this get in touch xx Big thank you to the organisers and to everyone who went making it a brill weekend xxx |
