great night at the molly house. the group entertain the girls all night with some great music. A place not to be missed, on a good evening out at sparkles |

Quite a conundrum this event in that it takes over but does not depopulate a large area of Manchester City Centre. This event is certainly the biggest and deserves its national attraction. Let us hope it survives the latest rumours as to who is running what next year. Beyond doubt this is the principal T girl gathering in the UK and needs to be attended by anyone who wants to feel that buzz of knowing that it really is sure that you are not alone. |

A great day at Sparkle in Manchester the weather stayed fine until the evening when it rained. A good show in the park on Saturday. Evening meal in China Town and a tour round the bars later. Altogether a fantastic day out. |

As Ever Sparkle was great fun, but Sparkle is just as much about the people you go with and the new people you meet as it is about the event. The event is always good and well organised and this year was no exception, so your always onto a winner there. Go with good friends and make new friend while your there and you will have a great time, and like me you will keep going back. I wish Sparkle was twice a year a summer and a winter Sparkle but have the winter one in a different venue each year to spread the love. I'm looking forward to Sparkle 11. :D |

Had a fantastic time all week end but I have to say spent a lot of money on a ballgown I think I looked great! shame The hall was half empty" no air conditioning" so so hot! So was I lol no dance floor" was told that it will finish at 12pm not 1any! so why did I pay till 1am! Any way I left after just 1hr way to Hot Why do they call this a sparkle ball, Will not be going again JENNY LEE |

Our first Sparkle, and certainly not our last. We attended from Friday evening through to the wee small hours of Monday morning and had an incredible time. That all this event is free and inclusive of everyone is a minor miracle. So much energy, colour, superb entertainment and excellent stalls, coupled with the fantastic atmosphere of the whole gay village was a revelation. I've added a piece on my blog about our more personal reactions, but can only say thank you, it was marvellous.
