Manchester Sparkle weekend once again a great time was had at Sparkle arriving at 12pm i took a trip to the shops and The Primark store (its the biggest in the world) for some new trainers to go with my casual look for the daytime then back to meet up with friends Sarah M and later G Q Emma for a stroll round Sackville Gardens .I met up with so many old and new friends in the day and the sun shone all day ,spent a chilled hour or so with Rachle K, Kate A and Katie on the canal side before watching some of my friends in the Miss Sparkle then a change into my evening frock and heels for a great night out round the bars with Emma, a late call into Naps which was packed to the door then finished at 3am , this was the tenth year and i have been to most i don't stay for the full weekend theses days but for all those girls new its such a great weekender if you can do it and now its on FRI,SAT,SUN all day.

Sparkle No. 10. It rocked! The upstairs of New York, New York on Saturday night was a definite fave. The DJ truly was playing anything. I requested Black Sabbath 'Paranoid'. She played it, followed by Steppenwolf - 'Born to be Wild'. Hell, yeah! |

For my first ever time out dressed I couldn't have picked a better event! So many friendly, helpful and just plain wonderful people everywhere! Why did the weekend have to end? Can't we have an all year Sparkle?!

This is actually a review of the Repartee party on the Friday night which took place down stairs in Via Fossa. As far as I can tell everyone seemed to have a great time at this event which was tickets only until 11pm when anyone could join us. There was even food laid on but I was far to busy drinking to eat much. I hope they do something like this again in the future. Nina |
