Sparkle 2013 , I can only say it was excellent , so many people and it was great , In way you could see people dident wont it to end , and people are now talking about 2014 already, so many friendly people , I now wish I should have stayed over , Just a fantastic weekend , |

It's 3 years since my last Sparkle and I think it's just fantastic, awesome, fabulous.... it just gets better! It's Sunday evening and I arrived with the early birds on Thursday, I've had 4 days of fun and meeting TVchix friends and making somme lovely new friends. I'm now sooo washed out I am going to crash and sleep late in the morning. I just can't speak highly enough of Sparkle. The obviously hard working crew got it right, definitely! Congrats Sparkle crew and thanks from me and all of us girls and boys that you gave such a great weekend to. The bar venues on Canal St. and around should be thanked too for providing an efficient and friendly service. Even when it was packed I didn't have to stand in me killer heels too long to get a drink and meals in the various places were good and reasonably priced. There was plent of variety in the music at the various venues to suit everyone. The social atmosphere along the street in both day and night times was always great. People were friendly and it was easy to meet and get to know each other. Sitting chilling with a drink and watching the passing parade of fantastic outfits was a real entertainment. Some people obviously went to a lot of trouble. Sparkle in the Park went off very well and I was impressed with the Freaks Dance group and players in the "grand opening" The music climax and firework things and balloon release were a theatrical touch that made it like a mini olympic opening.... The weather was a bit over the top and lots of people were sweltering. Better than the rain at my last Sparkle though. I made the effort Saturday night and got tarted up in me vinyl and boots and all. In that temperature I must have lost heaps of weight. All worth it though and I was rather naughty and crashed on the bed when I got back. A suggestion..... If more "serious" clothing sellers could be attracted to the park I think the market side of it would attract an aweful lot of girls who have trouble at normal shopping. A win for everyone. Big THANKS to the Sparkle team. I hope you keep doing it. Kisses to all the friends new and pre-friended who made Sparkle so great for me. Commiserations to all you girls out there that didn't make it. You missed the event of the year. |

hi to all chix sparkle was the 1st time out in public for me and it was realy realy fantastic and enjoyed every moment of it.well worth going the venue was perfect in the park and tree shade. every one was so friendly and atmosphere was so good and I fully relaxed and felt right at home. will deff be going next year just hope the weather will be as good next year.well done to all concerned.

My first ever Sparkle. The whole atmosphere was wonderful and it was well organized. Looking forward to Sparkle 2014 and the 10 year anniversary.

Marks out of 10 as follows..... Atrium apartments.....9. Superb and highly recommended. Canal Street.... 5. Good atmosphere but still an underlying air of menace and homophobic comments flying around from passing car drivers. Still a lot of "straight" guys who come to ogle and comment on the trans people. Beggars and pools of sick later on are a nice touch. Napoleons......3. Worst toilets this side of a festival. Slimy "admirers" who still think its ok to feel the arse of people they don't know and god help us if ever there was a fire upstairs. Velvet....8 . Needed air con but nice food and great staff. Retro.....10. For me the best part of Sparkle 2013. Non judgmental people in a totally non threatening atmosphere and with the sexiest girls with some amazing makeup and tattoos. Oh and the music was awesome. Maybe it's because rock and metal fans are on the fringe that they are so cool with TGirls. In fact some of the guys wore more eyeliner than me! This club made my weekend. |

Just got home from a really great weekend with Jodie at Sparkles. First time we've been and what a great venue. Met some lovely Tgirls you're all lovely. Well organised event things to do and great bars in a nice area in Manchester. Already organising our trip there next year

Absolutely brilliant, hung out with the girls, ate, drunk, danced the night away well some of it and a good place to catch up with others. Sparkle is a unique event based in Canal Street, Manchester. The main event on the Sat is in Sackville Gardens, Miss Sparkle is great, fantastic weather and loads of pubs, clubs and restaurants. Plenty of hotels nearby and gives u a chance to be u for a couple of days. For those that haven't been go, its well worth going, safe environment and fun! A big thanks goes to the organisers, stewards and everyone else connected with Sparkle! |

The most fantastic weekend i have ever had,the whole weekend is a blur,it went that fast,if there is ever a tranny event to be done then it has to be this,a big thank you to all the girls i met,i can't remember all your names,but you know who you are.I will defo be going next year

*SPARKLE* what a weekend by the far the busiest in recent years a great atmosphere i was with great company all weekend all the bars were full the sun was shinning acts were great but lacked some seriosu star power but still an aamzing weekend xx |
