Had a fantastic time over the whole weekend , i would say the best one in recent years . Would recomend it to any t-girl who wants to get out and about , and more importantly make new friends . |

Had a great time.........especially saturday afternoon in the park......well organised, and its was sunny. Could do with another bar...........to reduce the queues. Recommend it again.. |

Sunday is definitely alot quieter.... All day drinkies session, not over clever. Sunday lunch at Eden (a bit arty farty with no content) Back to freshen up for night out. |A quieter but pleasant night apart from quite a few chav types hanging round pub doors asking for ciggies.. A polite no is the answer. Over all enjoyed Sparkle alot. And a late check out for the morn.....yay |

Started Sat with a visit to some talks that interested me. Very enlightening. Visited the park, done the rounds of the stalls and came away with a huge bag of freebies. Meal in via, was very nice. Back to get ready for night out, meeting some friends that came down.....and a night of drunken fun and dancing. Great |

Arrived Friday booked into the absolutely wonderful Velvet Hotel (top marks)... Had a great night out meeting old and new friends, what more could you want. |

Well what can i say? I arrived at my usual haunt (the New Union) 'bout 1130 and was soon enjoying being back in Mancs. I was killing time waiting for Fireswan to arrive from the depths of South Wales,and once we'd hooked up the time just flew by....As always the food at the chinese banquet was superb and the company wonderful. Sadly early starts and a late night the night before meant i had to be a party pooper and retire early but it was a wonderful way to start the weekend |

What a fantastic week end we just had at the fabulous Sparkle in Manchester! Arrived in the pouring rain and got totally lost on those dammed motorways and ring roads, but found my hotel with the help of my gf’s and then the party started!!! We all decided to have a quick look down “anal treat” before getting dressed......I’m telling you we were back in a jiffy to transform....we all felt like admirers’......lol....... Dressed and ready we hit the village...... Two nites of nonstop partying it’s taken me a week to get over it!!! Defo going back next year next time I think we will get an apartment so we can carry on the party all nite!! Met lots of lovely girls,rg,s and guys...keep in touch babes......... MWAH....XXXXX |

Good atmosphere. Had plenty of good times with new and existing friends. Enjoyed the nIght life with very welcoming exceptance from the local community. : x

As Kate it was my first ever time at Sparkle and it was a marvelous event! I met lots of lovely Girls & Guys and everyone was so welcoming, friendly and just having such a wonderful time. I felt relaxed and Safe out & about all Day & Night as Kate and this is credit to the organisers and the hardwork they put in and the amazing welcome the transgender community always gives you. My wife and I had a fantastic Sparkle weekend!! Always a pleasure to meet new people but this years event brought some great entertainment. It was a joy to share time with friends old and new! Can't wait for next year!! The event feels really safe and to all Mancunians present..thankyou for being so welcoming. I think next year you should hold a Sparkle market on the Sunday....new and pre-loved! Would attract lots of people! Wonderful event..a huge thankyou to the organisers. Think the best praise came from my somewhat shy wife who actually forgot she was dressed!! That just shows how wonderfully relaxed and accepting of folk this whole event is. Simply brilliant!! |

Fantastic weekend in great company. I would fully recommend this even to the most nervous person that has yet to venture out. Everyone is soooo friendly & its a carnival atmosphere. This one was my 3rd & I'll be back for Sparkle 2014. Hugs, Lesley xx |
