The Magic Theatre lived up to it's name! Fantastic and safe venue, welcoming staff and brilliant entertainment. Will defenitely be going back there.

Guess what - Magic Theatre was brilliant - again!! The usual great mix of revellers all out for a good time!! The band were excellent - who'd have thought a Ska band would be that awesome? Met up with some friends I'd not seen in ages - and as always seems to happen at Magic Theatre, made some new ones... The after party if anything seemed to be improved by the bar restrictions - as in it was not nearly as packed as normal!! A seat? No problem! Though it did mean that someone had to leave MT a bit early to get the drinks in at Jam Circus... |

My 1st ever visit...omg!..Moulin Rouge come to life!!!! Just superb from start to finish... I do apologise for snogging My Tgirl friend Kelly, the bouncer was quite polite!!..lol...I am down as a devotee of Magic Theatre from now on !!!!! Vive la difference xxxxx Ms Phillipa |

Once again Magic Theatre delivers the goods and doesnt disappoint. Both Elle and I (Charley) had an absolutely fab time from start to finish. Only feedback to improve would be that we both felt the band were fantastic and the sound was brilliant but possibly a poor selection of sound (ska music) as this is not really very sexy feminine dance music so when you are fripped up it is not ideal to dance to! (no criticism of the band themselves they were great) but apart from that....perfect luv Charley and Elle xxxxx ps....such a shame the next MT isnt until end of Oct :-( |

Had a wonderful evening at The Magic Theatre. The staff are always warm and welcoming. The venue is stunning and really takes you back in time. Great varied choice of music, the solo singer was brilliant and so was the band. Its a great way to spend an evening, just wish there was more of them can't wait for the next one. Well done one and all for a great evening thanks for a lovely time |

Totally had a great night, although they did not have any Rose wine lol. The band was good it was a traditional Ska band with Trumpets, Sax and double base. They were great musicians and the songs were in some cases traditional regae. There was this fabulous burlesque styled singer/ comedian. She had a wonderful voice and looked amazing. Only one critism the music was a little loud at first and had struggle hearing friends chatting but after boozing up a bit you kinda did not notice. People dressed wonderfully and you can dress how ever you want as long as it is tasteful as not a smutt club. What I do like is the mixed crowd, gay straight Lesbian gender variant. It gives one a feeling of normality, for me that is. Seriously people should go to this event.... Stacey xx |

I believe the event is excellent value for money and the venue is superb as full of atmosphere and the decor is beautiful. Staff are friendly, cant really comment on security as didnt need or really see, guess that says it all.

Surprisingly not quite up to the brilliant standards it sets this time round but still an enjoyable evening nontheless. For me the ambiance of the ballroom was still there but I found the cabaret poor and the house band only average. Plus, to be honest, there were girls around who made sure they were seen and heard no matter what. This is so not the Magic Theatre style and I was disappointed for myself, my friends and for those who work so hard to put the event on. I still heartily recommend Magic Theatre but please only come if you can actually behave like an adult rather than . . . . . . . ! |

Better then the disastrous Halloween night(!) cabaret was bearable,band good,pity about the accoustics DJ was crap(no change there) but at least you had room to move on the floor and nil waiting time for drinks,bar staff do good work.

My first time at MT, thoroughly enjoyed a very friendly evening, meeting new friends & old. Pity I didn't know about the "after party" but a good night never the less.
