Another highly successful charity garden party was held in a family home. Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful guests and lots of fun. Definitely recommended. Thank you to everyone who made the event happen and who gave so generously. |

A huge thank you to Richard and the helpers for hosting a summer garden BBQ and pizza party, a fundraising event for the transgender charity Sparkle! It's a splendid moment to reconnect with friends and make new acquaintances, with ample food and refreshments in the picturesque setting of Richards beautiful home and garden.

What a Great Day !! Interesting company, everyone was friendly and the conversation flowed …along with the Food [Tasty and a lot of variety] together with a good selection of Drinks ….. as a Bonus …the weather behaved itself !!

I attended another wonderful Richard's Photography BBQ & Garden Party yesterday. It's a very welcoming & well-organised event in a stunning and very secure venue. A great event for any nervous first-timers. A big thank you also to all the helpers x |

Richard's Photography garden party to raise money for Sparkle was a excellent event to go to for myself as it was my first time out as Stephanie. Held in his beautiful house and garden it had a lovely feel to it with such friendly and supportive people. Richard and his partner Jessica were the perfect hosts and made me so welcome and at ease. Its so rewarding to have people like Richard to offer his time and open his house to the transgender community. I can recommend this event to anyone who feels a bit nervous and unsure of themselves. Ok, I’m reviewing my own event! But why not? The feedback has been that this was an excellent event (on this site and elsewhere). Everyone had a great time. It was great to see so many people from the trans-community at ease and also a number of their allies supporting the event. In total £415 was raised for the trans-charity, Not A Phase. It was exhausting work and I’m still tidying up four days later, but it was well worth it. Look forward to next year.

I have been to several of Richard's events and they have all been outstanding. This one was well organised and great value for money. The venue is very secure and has stunning gardens and patio/BBQ area. Excellent music and karaoke entertainment provided by the resident DJ Tamasin. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend this event x |

Richards party was lovely. A great host in beatifull surroundings and fantastic guests. Top marks for Victoria doing magic, Tamasin on the tunes and all the helpers who made it possible.

A great day, even though the Rain tried to wash us away, Richard opened his house up which gave plenty of space to circulate. The Food was plenty and tasty ... the freshly made and wood fired Pizza's were a great surprise . Good company and a great friendly atmosphere. Thankyou Richard |

I'm biased as I organised this event. However, given the overwhelming positive feedback I have received (see others' comments on this website), I feel I can safely say that this event was a massive success. The food received rave reviews, people loved the magic act (thanks Goldie) and praised the DJ (fabulous disco - thanks to Tamasin). Thank you everyone who supported this event and for the (just under) £600 raised for Transliving.
