Another fantastic afternoon ay Lovejoys. Hot weather and a lovely mix of hot and cool people. I was very well taken care of. I still have a smile on my face.

Wonderful as always. Lovely, respectful people and great atmosphere, despite being one of the hottest days of the year!

A lovely day there. Super hot weather but they did a good job of keeping the rooms as cool as they could. Met some really nice people. Wore some ludicrous things 😊

Very low turnout for LOVEJOYS. Extreme Heat and the eve of Sparkle Events the main reasons. The lowest turnout for about 8years..,!! 2 more Lovejoys before the Summer break… Suzie Sxx |

Despite the heat outside, it was deliciously cooler in this gorgeous Edwardian house that has thick walls and high ceilings to stop heat permeating in from outside. A slightly smaller gathering... not surprising owing to the heat outside, a few people sensibly deciding to stay in the dark and cool of their own homes! (But actually it was probably a lot cooler at Lovejoys than in their own homes!) Nevertheless, it was still a happy and fun party that seemed to be enjoyed by everyone there.

On a day when the temperature was 34 degrees, not surprising Lovejoys was quieter than usual. But numerous fans kept us a little bit cooler and there was the same, friendly, enjoyable atmosphere as always.
