Retro Bar is a busy gay/mixed pub. George Court is an alleyway just off the south side of The Strand, in London, and is situated between Superdrug and Halifax. Normal pub hours. There is scope for parking nearby, but it is very limited. The bar is a short walk from either Charing Cross or Embankment tube stations.Retro Rendezvous currently meets on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. If you want to eat beforehand, there are places in Villiers Street: Lulivo Italian Restaurant and Five Guys burgers, and a Pizza Express in the Strand, corner of Duncannon Street.

London's best, and I think only, free, purely social weekly gathering of t-girls, transexuals, and occasional admirers. In a great friendly gay / mixed bar. Just the place to make your debut in a dress and get to know a lovely bunch of people. We may be upstairs or downstairs, but there should be a notice on the the board in the entrance. Tables reserved from 8, but come earlier if you like. You may be the first, but don't worry, you won't be alone for long. We drink, we chat, we gossip, we put the world to rights, we may flirt, and we always try to be stylish. Well-behaved male admirers are welcome to join us. A really nice evening with a friendly welcoming group of people in a great bar with very hospitable staff. They played some tunes as well. Hope to be back if I'm in London again on a Wednesday.

I always enjoy a night with tina and the girls. retro is a lovely friendly bar tucked away just off the strand. 12 or so there, great company and reasonable prices at the bar. Sometimes we go on to other places afterwards but I decided to head home at closing this time.
