Description:
Retro Bar is a very friendly and busy mainly gay pub with a great atmosphere. George Court is an alleyway just off the south side of The Strand, in London, and is situated between Superdrug and Halifax. Normal pub hours. There is scope for parking nearby in John Adam street but it is very limited and difficult to access. The bar is a short walk from either Charing Cross or Embankment tube stations.Retro Rendezvous currently meets on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. If you want to eat beforehand, there are places in Villiers Street: Hobson's fish and chips, Lulivo Italian Restaurant, and Five Guys burgers, and a Pizza Express in the Strand, corner of Duncannon Street.

I had a really fun night. It was great to meet up with friends and make new. Lovely relaxed pub and was made to feel most welcomed by the staff and other people there. I could have happily sat there the whole night and morning. I will certainly be returning the next chance I can get! |
