Glam Girl Events is the new name for the CD/TV event which has been running in DV8 Dublin at the end of each month for over 2 and a half years. This event is a social event, that means NO Sex or Sexual play is allowed at these events. The event is similar to a night out at a late bar or nightclub and similar rules apply. The big difference is that the night is mostly CD/TV girls and their admirers! The venue is a safe, secure, private and comfortable space for everyone.
WHAT DO WE DO ?
We are an open and inclusive event which welcomes people from all communities but especially from the CD/TV communities and their admirers, supporters and friends.
We are LGBTQIA+ / alternative community friendly. We are non judgemental towards people who wish to express themselves in a warm and friendly manner. Our venue is a large fully licensed bar close to Dublin City centre which caters for lots of alternative events on a regular basis. The venue and staff are well used to hosting alternative events. They provide a safe,secure,comfortable space for events such as ours.
We aim to provide a friendly and supportive atmosphere where CD/TV’s can be themselves in a discrete and private environment. The venue has a fully staffed bar, places to change and lots of other facilities for fun nights out including big screen TV's, pool table, Dartboard, Karaoke, DJ facilities and other activities.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE ?
The dress code for the event is the same as if you were attending a bar / nightclub but we do allow for more sexy attire for females once there is no nudity. The dress code for males / admirers / supporters is smart casual.
HOW TO ATTEND ?
The event runs on the last Friday of the month from 9pm to 1:30am. No registration or invite is needed for this event. The event is FREE for female presenting attendees and also free for males / admirers BEFORE 9:30pm. After 9:30pm the cost for male presenting attendees is €10 at the door. Once you arrive at the venue which is the side door beside the public bar just ask for the Glam Girl event at the door. You will then be directed to the event by one of our door staff / hosts.
