What a night, Glam Girls! It truly had it all — dazzling drag performances, an incredible professional DJ, lively karaoke, and a fun-filled quiz! Last night at Glam Girls was truly special—one of our best nights yet. Some people may look at what I wore and wonder why I chose a wedding dress. The truth is, there was a very personal reason behind it. Yesterday marked my 16th wedding anniversary with my wife (in my male role), and it was actually her idea for me to wear it. Although she chose not to attend—saying, “That’s your scene, not mine”—I respect that completely. Wearing the dress was my way of honoring our anniversary while also making a statement: I am Sofia, and I will dress however I choose. Just like Madonna once challenged society’s expectations in her “Like a Virgin” wedding dress, I wanted to show that self-expression should never need approval. For me, hosting Glam Girls isn’t about seeking attention or standing out—it’s about giving back to the community. I see my role as helping create a better future, where crossdressers and anyone who expresses themselves differently can do so freely, without fear or judgment. What matters most to me isn’t that I had a great night, but that everyone who attends leaves with a smile, feeling welcomed, comfortable, and proud to be themselves. If they go on to tell others that Glam Girls is a safe and accepting space, then I know we’ve done something meaningful together. Be proud. Be yourself. |

A really brilliant event that was well organised, and in a lovely venue. A chance to mix and mingle with some lovely people, and I'll definitely be back! Thanks to everyone involved in organising the event - there was clearly a lot of work involved, and it made for a great night 💙
