Wednesday 12th August in Manchester
Trans people, together with our cis friends and allies, have been meeting and socialising in Manchester on Wednesday evenings since the late 1970s as the Manchester TV/TS Group in 1974-75 and later Northern Concord then Manchester Concord. We are a modern evolution of that Manchester tradition and everyone is welcome, whether you are completely new, a cross-dresser finding your feet, a trans woman living full time or somewhere in between.
🌈 The Village Option
People often begin meeting during the late afternoon, usually in Via, moving on to Velvet and then Iconic Bar from around 8.00pm onwards. Later in the evening, people usually drift between Via, The Goose, New York New York, Centre Stage, Brewers and other nearby venues.

🏙️ The City Option
I will be around town all day, if you want to join me shopping, cafeing and such message me and I will arrange to meet up with you.
For dinner we will go to The Bank, 57 Mosley Street M2 3FF the big deal being that I have a 25% off voucher for up to 6 people, let me know if you want to join as and I will add you to the booking.
For anyone new to socialising in Manchester, these are two quite different options. The city-centre option involves mixing with the general public in mainstream venues and is intended for those who are comfortable dressing to fit naturally into that environment. If you are unsure whether it would suit you, please message me beforehand.
The Gay Village is, of course, a much more diverse environment and welcomes all forms of personal expression.
If you are a cis man, please arrange to come with one of the ladies or speak to me beforehand so we can ensure that your expectations are appropriate. We are a social group, not a dating or sexual-activities group.
