My profile shows that Im online. How does the website determine this?
|
When you perform any activity on tvChix, your profile is updated to say you are still online.
You will appear online to other users for a period of 5 minutes since your last activity.
If you close your browser or otherwise leave the site, you will stop appearing to be online after 5 minutes. Also if you are still viewing the site but have not requested a new page for a period of time, you may also appear to be offline, until you next browse to another page on the site.
